I was never so satisfied with LED lights set! And this comes from a guy who spent over $3000 worth of led light strips last couple of years.Everything felt premium from the beginning. The packaging was amazing and for some reason it reminded me of apple products unpackaging experience. I had weird excitement unboxing these lights.One of the biggest problem with led light strips is adhesion. Many times I received lights that were not sticking to the clean surfaces from the beginning. Probably the adhesive side dried out during long storage. As you see from the picture I used this lights as bed backlight and I had to re-do it THREE times. I did not like the result from first two installations. To my surprise, the lights were sticking to the frame every time and I had them for over a month holding strong. In fact, my robo vacuum even pulled power cord out but the strip remained on its place.I also love alexa integration. Very useful to change colors, dim lights etc. I have smart light switch for regular bright lights and I created an automation where these RGB lights turn on and off with main lights. Very handy. Having alexa dot (costs $18 now) is very handy and I almost never use light switches the traditional way anymore.The power supply is big and quality built so you can connect more lights if needed.There also were all sorts of adaptors and extension wires included which I've never seen before and were not expecting. Only because of these extra items from the packaging I was able to finish my project the same day and also make it better that I've expected. This product is a perfect alternative to the Phillips Hue light strip! Not only is it cheaper, but you get more LEDs, the ability to cut and reconnect the strips together (with a satisfactorily long cable fit connecting two runs), and it all still works with the Amazon echo. Excellent product, and I would definitely buy it again. I found the lights to be vibrant and bright.There are a few things to be improved:- It would be nice to be able to buy the wifi module which connects to the strip on its own-I wish there were a way to fade smoothly between colors without having to physically press the button on the box-I wish the prongs on the power connector were rotated 90 degrees so it only takes up one plug.-It would be nice to be able to watch the colors on the strip as I am moving the sliders in the appOther than those minor improvements to be made, this is an excellent product, and definitely recommend over the Phillips hue if you are on a budget like me.

I am using these lights for my screened in back porch. The porch is about 20'x12'. I purchased just one spool to test them out. Setup was very easy, the app has a lot of features to it. The adhesion is probably ok for an indoor wall, and if you're going to stick it to a painted exterior surface, you need to clean the surface and wipe it down with something to remove paint oxidation to stick better. I ended up sticking them to a metal roof and so far they seem to be sticking just fine. One strip easily lights up this porch to the point you could read at night with no problems. The lights are crisp, colors are very rich. I'll be buying more of these to finish out the porch and probably a couple projects

I just received these in a few days ago for my new home office desk I am building. They work as advertised. While the setup process was slightly confusing, the instructions and QR code it came with to ensure I was installing the correct app and getting set up on Amazon Echo/Alexa was not a very difficult process. Lights have adjustable brightness but are pretty bright when turned all the way up. It lacks some of the functionality of the more expensive (I.E. 2x or x3 as expensive ones) options, but for the money and the length you get, it is a good value with included Wi-Fi box to connect to smart home. The only downside in my mind at this time is that the adhesive that comes with them doesn't always play nice with all surfaces and can become a problem. This is easily fixed with a little bit of clear tape or the included brackets and screws if you are using it as a more permanent solution. It also includes extra little cables for splicing into separate sections (albeit with no functionality unless additional power/wifi boxes are purchased) or just to extend the distance further with some gap. All around a good product for the price.
