This is the best edge guard I've ever used. It's easy to apply and looks great. When I applied it I cut a piece of the edge guard to the length of the door, then carefully pealed about one inch of the protective red strip, made sure the adhesive side was on the inside of the door and then pealed the strip as I worked down the door. For the curved doors I cut slightly longer pieces to make sure I had enough material to cover the curves. DO NOT PEAL THE ENTIRE RED STRIP AT ONCE. The entire project took me about fifteen minutes for an Acura MDX. Just take your time when applying the strip. Even my wife agreed that it looks great.

I hardly ever leave bad reviews... but this product is really something that deserves it... adhesive is useless... the product is so thick and channel so shallow that it won't stick to anything... and when you have some corners... no matter what you do, it just gets undone... I thought it was tension but nooo... no matter what you do it comes undone... see picture

I first tried a product from local auto parts store and it came loose and was too big to fit with the door closed and actually scratched the paint on the opposite door frame. This product is very thin and flexible and worked on the 2017 Subaru Outback. Many of the new cars dont have a very deep thin edge on the doors that's why the first product didn't work. This product is not so deep that it goes on easily and smoothly and then you just pull the tape off the adhesive after you have it in position and then press it on hard with your hands and its done. First clean the door good and let the product sit in the sun to warm up a bit.

I've seen a lot of this stuff out there on cars. This stuff works, but it's on the narrow side. The thickness of the material is ok, but the amount of the door side that it covers is small. If all you want is the cheapest possible clear roll that does an entire car, this will work, but it relies on sticker tape.If you need a little better protection (IE: if you have kids, or adult children), get something that covers more of the door. If they toss the door open onto the sidewalk, it strips this stuff off the bottom of the door easily.

Very handy, not hard to put on . Takes a bit of finger strength, but nothing extraordinary for skill or muscle. Sure is good at keeping you from dinging your neighbors' cars when parking. A great idea for apartment / condo managers to encourage civility and community among tenants and owners. Use 'em for party favors or new neighbor gift, and work together putting them on. It's actually a bit of fun, and takes only a half hour to do a whole car - less if working together.

We have a very compact garage that the cars fit into, but the doors can't open completely wide. We were starting to get some door dings from the kids so we thought we'd give this a try. It has worked really well! It's easy to put onto the doors and they have stayed put! We have not had an issue with these coming off easily. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that has kids that like to swing open doors!

Got this back on December and already it turned yellow on me and shrunk too. This is a terrible product and not the easiest to install either. I ended up taking off my car today and installed one from the Toyota dealer for my 2015 Scion tC and it was easier to put on and only $5 but way better quality. Also this product was clear with a purple tint it was so obvious on the car.

The product ,in short, very disappointing. Upon arrival, the red tape was curled inside the lining & glued into center. I was unable to use 60-65 % of product because it was ruined. Also, not very pliable. I had purchased enough to do my '18 Camry, '16 Corvette & '64 Chev.SS ,but only did Camry with what product was left. Very unhappy with packaging & product. I wish I could have seen the product in person before as I had gone to Walmart & O'Reilly's before ordering thru mail.
