Remote Key Fob Cover Shell Case for Viper (EZSDEI474V)

As with others mentioned my old keyfob (by Ungo) is so much been beaten and delapadated wherein the plastic loop for the key ring attaches to has been eaten away ever so thinned over the years until that inevitable snap. Been having to carry the old keyfob and surprisingly utilizing the ever so neglected coin pocket in my front pants to carry it around, in some ways keeping it in this pocket sorta makes it feel like you have a new stealthy way to open and closing your vehicle without busting out your keys. However, that stealthiness comes with a price such as the dreaded, you forgot it in your pocket and you ended up putting the pant in the wash or the constant guessing game which set of pants did you leave the keyfob in, has been tiresome none the least. This new keyfob replacement case solves all those nagging issues you might have succumbed to all those days or in my case weeks where your fob was detached from your keys. The surprise fit and finish of this product is bar none, with two button configuration options to choose from (one with an orange horn button or one with a yellow asterisk). And for less than $10 you get two sets, yes two, sure to outlast your vehicle and possibly the functionality of your alarm system, which reminds me, mine has the auto start function and for some reason my vehicle randomly starts by itself between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm, that's another problem to solve. In summary, great product!

Very easy to swap inner component board out of old case and into new. These cases are sturdy but I've replaced them about once per year.

Solved the problem of my broken key fob. Took only seconds to remove the broken one and replace it with this one.

I have an Auto Mate remote control for my car. It is model 474A listed on the back of the remote. The remote worked fine, but the little loop to attach the key ring broke. This was a great alternative to getting and programming a new remote. As you can see in the pictures, the new remote case is very similar in design to my original. It even came with two styles of button too use. All I had to do was pop my remote case open, the same way you would to change the battery. Pop open the new case, and then transfer over the internal parts. Close the new case and it worked great. I highly recommend it.

As the title states, it’s a great replacement for the type of fob displayed. Took less five minutes for the entire process including getting is out of the package. Only instructions needed is to open your old key fob, take out the circuit board. Put the whichever button front you want to use in the new casing. Then put in the circuit board and close the backing around the edges slow and securely. It’s not a pop/snap closing. Put on your key chain and go. And it’s inexpensive. I don’t know about durability but for the price, if it doesn’t last a year or even six months, I’m good. It was under 7 bucks.
