Quality sound
I got this to go with a hofner travel guitar, to help me quit smoking while i wait for concrete to dry. It's amazing how much fits into a small package. Now if they could only incorporate drums!!! I hooked it up from mini plug to 1/4" into my roland cube mini. I added drums through the auxiliary on the cube. Despite being a headphone (stereo) output it worked perfectly. Big sound for a tiny package. I highly recommend to anyone needing portability. I got a 12" leader to be able to view the face of the device. Fender owners won't need this! All of my guitars have jack on the bottom.

Great Value, Great Distortion, Great For Practice!
Works beautifully, the distortion was exactly what I was hoping for and not lacking. Was very happy with the sound of harmonic pinches. The unit seems solid, I'd imagine if you we're jamming, not paying attention, and then put too much weight down on the unit it could bend the jack. I play with my guitar hovering over nothing to avoid this. The aux in is great, I hook up my tablet with Caustic 3 so I can play with drum tones and make beats to play along with and practice. The internal battery last for a good amount of time, easily handled 2, 6 hour plus practice sessions on a single charge and didn't run out. I read the reviews and wasn't sure what to expect but I needed something cheap I could use with headphones. For 20 bucks I rolled the dice and I'm personally very happy. The only Con for me is the Chorus effect, it's all or nothing and in this case the chorus feels maxed out and is just far too obvious. I wish the effect was on a variable dial like the distortion, i'd like some chorus ambience but not so much that the Chorus is overpowering your chord tones. However, I didn't buy this for the chorus effect and honestly probably wouldn't use it very often even if it was variable. I fully appreciate the distortion, for me I feel it's right on the money when it's maxed out. This unit is worth the money, take care of your shit and it wont fall apart. Even if the jack broke on the unit it would be far too easy to wire a patch cable direct to the unit so you could set it aside. I've already thought about just doing this or getting an extension cable so I don't have to risk bricking anything. If you need something for 20 bucks that has good distortion, is small and works with headphones for practice, I assure you this is the unit to buy.

So far so good.
Works well and does the job. Tone is good. Volume isn’t that loud, could be louder. I don’t use all the features. I just need a thing to practice with music input and headphones. Using with a 5 string bass.

Comparison between Vox and Donner
So I'm going to write a review on this Donner practice amp for bass. I gave it a 5 star rating for the value for money simply because I didn't want to spend $40+ on the Vox version. Volume control works well which I gave 5 stars to. The fact that its a rechargeable unit is a plus. It beats having to buy AAA batteries every month or two. Which I will address later. The volume on this is impressive as well as the drive. I haven't tried over the ear headphones as i always use in ear headphones. However, compared to the Vox version, the tone is not at all impress with me. With the Vox version you can actually hear a big difference between what I call warm and fuzzy to trebly. The Donner tone control doesn't really give that warm fuzzy tone as there are still quite a bit of highs still present. It seems as if it goes from mid/treble to high/treble. Lows aren't really there. as far as the Donner unit is concerne. all my tone needs to be adjusted fromthe bass which I'm sure many will agree that that is all you need. But compared to the Vox, I get a more punchier, Jacoish type of sound from my strings.(If that makes sense) The Donner unit gets 4 stars because for the price, I got what I paid for, a small practice unit with a considerable amount of volume with hardly any tonal spectrum as opposed to the Vox. I do like it so far. let's see how longs the battery lasts me on a single charge throughout the week that I use it. The Donner feels solid unlike the Vox. The 1/8' jack feels sturdier on the Donner as opposed to the Vox, which I have already had to buy two so far because of the constant use when I take it on the road and practice. The Vox's 1/8' jack soldering starts to come lose within a year. I'm not bashing Vox. I really do like they tonal qualities as well as having a drum maching built in. However, durability is an issue with the Vox unit. I know I've barely started playing the Donner so I will come back and write an update on how its been fareing along the way. I hope this helps.
