Easy to install time will tell how well they work on keeping debris out of the gutters

I was excited to replace my current gutter guards with these to keep the long pine needles and bits out of the gutters. I had heard that micro mesh has such a fine mesh that needles will not get in. When I got these, I saw that the stainless screening was about the same as a window screen- not a true micro mesh. I should have returned them right then, but the description provided by the manufacturer stated it keeps pine needles out. It does not. Worse still, the pine needles also partially penetrate the screens, so the long white pine needles stick up everywhere and look ridiculous from the ground. The needles will not blow out or pressure wash off either. I actually needed another 6 pieces (24 ft.) but the seller wasn't able to provide less than 100' and their actual website off Amazon wouldn't respond to my request. I guess it's just as well now that I have found they don't help with the pine needles anyway. Not recommended if you have any pine trees nearby.Pros- They are made well.
