Great book will probably buy a 2nd for the youngest
My 10 year old loves it and it keeps her interested with lots of doodling and graphics. She was not excited to begin a journal but ended up finishing the first chapter very quickly due to the clever activities.

Mom and Son Connection
After my 5 yo son finished and loved the happy confident me journal; I decided to try out the life skills book next (probably should have started with life skills in hindsight). I got a copy of the life skills book for myself and my son. Now, every night we do a page together before heading to bed. I think I am learning more than he is. But, either way it’s a ton of fun for us to do.

Kids love it
I use this journal with my special education class. The kids love our journaling days and look forward to writing in them. It’s a great way to get the students writing without even realizing they are doing it. The journals are great for motivation and building confidence.

Great for anxious children
My daughter just turned 8 and unfortunately for her she has inherited from my anxiety ... I got her this to help her see past the negative thoughts and feelings, and steer towards more positive thinking about herself and the world around her. She does it at bedtime to keep her mind of the "sadness" and it has helped loads. The activities are engaging but simple enough for her to complete on her own. The book is well constructed and the images are lovely and bright, all age appropriate. Really happy with this purchase!

Confidence Building
After Covid like many children my nephew faced symptoms like sore tummy, tiredness or sore head. Going to school became a problem trigger. After his mum used this book with him he developed the skill to put his thoughts down on paper and talk about them. He gradually returned to the happy, thoughtful 10 year old. I would definitely recommend this book to other parents.

I purchased this book to help my ASD daughter feel more confident about herself.
My 10 year old ASD daughter has been subjected to some bullying at school. She had started to lose confidence in who she is. This book has some lovely activities to help her remember that she is amazing and allowed a structured programme to work through problems she has faced. I think it would be of benefit for most children to work through a book like this and would highly recommend it to everyone.
