Hey, it's summertime and with summertime comes an increase in minor injuries. Therefor, it's always good to be prepared to treat those nicks, cuts and scratches to prevent infections and promote healing. Always clean and disinfect an injury to promote healing. As part of your first aid products to have on hand,I ordered Betadine Antiseptic and Povidone-Iodine swabs. They arrived in just a few days allowing me to add these two products to my basic first aid supplies. They will provide additional treatment options for those minor scrapes, cuts, and even burns that are sure to occur during the busy, active summer season.

Better than the q tip version that has basically no useable amount of iodine in them

They work great, but some are a bit dry. .I squeeze pack before opening to help.

These iodine swabs are so easy to use and contain a lot of iodine. These are exactly the same type the hospital provided after surgery.

I don't particularly like these swabs. They seem rather dry and don't have much iodine on them. This makes it hard to get good coverage on the wound. Even when pressing harder, it hurts the wound but doesn't release more iodine. I don't know if they are made this way, or just an old product. Either way, I won't be purchasing or recommending these swabs again.

They were needed for wound healing. They were slightly under saturated but I happened to have a bottle of Providone solution. The work, they provide a swab of antiseptic where needed. Not being drippy sort of helps in not staining stuff but I still wish they were a little more drippy. LOL
