I am so glad that I bought this grater which I mainly use to make coleslaw or to grate my cheese. It takes all the hard work out of grating. It is also very easy to assemble and to take apart in order to wash. I have'nt tried the slicer yet for cucumber and fruit but I will get around to it soon. I catch the food in my pyrex pudding basin which fits underneath the funnel perfectly and it does'nt leave any mess at all outside the basin itself. It is so fast and is definitely one of my best buys!

Works well, but louder than my power drill. Also possible to absent mindedly turn it on while your hand is in it (not great.). Aside from this it's been very handy as I have a disability., and this makes grating large batches easy

If you ever grate food - then this gadget is an essential addition in your kitchen. Easy to use, easy to wash and does a superb job. I confess it has only been used for cheese so far, but my son assured me that it will grate most foods!

Very noisy and blade clogged up when grating carrots with fine grater. Not recommended if you have arthritic hands.

On the expensive side but worth every penny. Should have got this long ago instead of struggling to grate on a normal grater. Great product.

We grate a lot of hard cheese and I was tired of doing this manually, so decided to get this little electric grater. It comes with four attachments so you can adjust the size/shape of the shreds. Apart from hard cheese, I have used the grater for cabbage, onions, cheddar, nuts and carrots. The part of the grater that gets dirty goes in the dishwasher so cleaning up afterwards is simple. As others have mentioned, you need to hold down the power button while pushing down the item you are shredding using the tool provided. This is not an issue for us, but could prove difficult for people with mobility or coordination issues. The motor is pretty loud, but it is not on for long as the grater works fast. We did have an issue with one of the attachments cracking a few months after purchase, but the supplier was very helpful in providing a suitable solution to the problem.
