Google Pixel 6 5G (Kinda Coral, 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage)

I am writing this review after 1 week of usage and I hope I don't have to change it in the future.The phone is just great, for the ones who are thinking of buying Pixel 6 or even Pixel 6 Pro, they know what they are looking at, even though it is expensive here in India due to all import charges.As for the phone, I haven't faced any issue regarding the software or hardware side as I heard that the December software update was not good so after 1st boot, I updated the software to the latest one so till now, I haven't encountered any issues. I will suggest that before doing a software update in future first read the reviews of that update and than update.I am not writing about camera or software stuff as you all know what Pixel 6 is famous for. As for the battery life, I was getting almost 1.5 days (take it as 30 - 33 hrs) easily as I am not a power user. For the power user, I think the battery will last for 1 day (not sure though). The speakers are really great and loud, I haven't heard any other phone speakers around this price range so I can't tell you guys how they sound compared to other phones, but for me personally, it is great.The buttons are very clicky and will not get pressed easily. The placement of the power button and volume buttons are odd, normally the power button is below the volume buttons but in this case, it's reverse, it is not a deal-breaker and I got used to it in 3 to 4 days.As for the camera bump, I don't mind it personally. Even though many are talking about it - it's not great, the phone is unbalanced and many other things, trust me it's not a big deal.The phone is really slippery so you have to get a case otherwise it will slip from your hand and if you put your phone inside your pant it will definitely slip from there when you sit. I went for the dbrand Grip Case along with skin, if you can afford it then you should really get one, it's really great and fits perfectly. As for the screen protector I haven't found a correct one because the ones officially stated by google are not available in India. I did look for other ones but in reviews, they said after applying those the fingerprint doesn't work so till now I haven't applied any screen protector.As for the charger I had to buy the official google charger from Flipkart (why official charger, keep reading). I came from OnePlus 3T to Pixel 6 so I had the OnePlus 30W Dash charger and I thought it will work with Pixel 6 since the voltage and amps are almost identical to the official google pixel charger, but when I connected it, the phone displayed it is connected to the charger but not charging, I tried with other low watt chargers, even a Samsung one, the result was same. I had to charge the phone via USB through my laptop and it was really slow. After this, I searched which charger is compatible with Pixel 6, only 3 compatible chargers are available in India from companies - Anker (a few models in this), Samsung (Travel Adapter), Belkin. Even after finding all this, I had my doubts about all these chargers except Samsung Travel Adapter because they all are imported and had a 100V - 120V rating (many people did say it works in India in reviews, I was still not satisfied). So I contacted google Pixel support regarding which charger should I use with this since the new Google charger is not launched in India, the support person gave the link of the official charger launched in India on Flipkart with 100V - 240V and it supports all Pixel devices with 18W fast charging. It goes with the name like - "Google G1000-IN 18 W". Also I think that any power adaptor with Power delivery port will do the job as I didn't had any, and all the compatible chargers for this phone have Power delivery port.I did buy a different Type C to C cable which is a 2m braided cable from Amazon of a company named SYNQE, it works well with the google charger and it supports fast charging also.

It's charging speed is the worst in modern phone world. With the fast charger, it charges in around 2.5 hours. Camera is excellent. However you need to remember that there's no warranty for this phone because it was not officially released in India

This review is posted after 40 days of daily usage.Note: Am not into gaming so my usage on average daily includes mails, WhatsApp, Maps, basic music/video streaming on and off, and few photographs (unless am on vacation where I click a lot!)1. The software is as clean as it could be ofcourse.2. Got upgraded to Android 13 in hardly 20 days of purchase.3. Camera is THE best. Some of the effects like motion photo, magic eraser, cinematic photo and creations are absolutely rich and above the best in market. Above iphones I will say.4. Being Google phone, getting lot of security updates and bug fixes. So even if there are issues be assured it will be fixed soon.5. I moved over from OnePlus series, so certainly missing the fast charging option. I use a 'Dr. Vaku' charger supporting multi watt charging. Charging is not great and certainly takes an hour for full charge or even more.6. Battery discharge appears bit fast so little disappointed on that front.7. Loads of gimmicks and features loaded. My favourite is taking screenshot on tapping phones back . Choose your favourite.8. Lots of customisations available like wallpaper/theme based app skin color, widgets etc.9. The phone does heat up at times on long usage of app like Maps, Camera, video streaming. The mention of long here varies App to App. It does cool down easily but it does feel annoyingly warm.10. Haptic touch, screen resolution etc are great even in normal sunlight.11. Purchased it from 'world bazaar' seller. Received nice seal packed phone. On cheking IMEI online, seems mine is China product. The one you may get could be Japan, USA anyone depending on stock of your seller.12. There is no warranty in India as the phone is not officially sold here but I purchased with some calculated risk hoping nothing can go wrong in an year time with Pixel.13. Dual sim possible. One Sim has to be made e-sim. In India only Airtel and Jio offer esim at this point and for that you will need to have a postpaid account SIM. Do note.14. Brightness in broad daylight is fine.15. Sound and phone volume is not loud. It could have been better.Note: Some of these issues could be common in other primium phones like S21FE, Oneplus10 for e.g and have seen similar reviews online.As I mentioned in caption, buy it only if you love pixel phone. The phone is not error free but some of the benefits overshadow the cons and hence I went ahead.Make your calculated choice !As

The screen did not respond to touch. I could not turn the phone off. I plugged a trackball into the phone and reset it and it started working right. I hate having Verizon trying to stick its ugly nose into it. There was an app called my Verizon that I happily deleted.

予定よりも１日早く届きました。ネットで端末を購入するのは初めてだったので、正直、携帯キャリアか公式サイト(GoogleやAppleなど)から買った方が安心なのかなと、購入するまでかなーり迷いましたが、表示されている説明どおりの端末が届きました。せっかくなら、色が選べたら良かったのですが、もう販売から時間は経過しているし、他のサイトで未使用ってほぼ無いので、この機種が購入できただけでも良かったです。
