Really hard to get right
My mechanic dad couldn’t get these to detect consistently. It lights up before or after, not when someone is actually in the blind spot. Sort of a waste of money.

With a little bit on electrical knowledge and a bit of common sense you could make this product function like it does in the newer cars. I installed it on my 2008 Corolla and it works great! Just make sure you don’t connect the power wire to a constant 12v or the system will stay active. Definitely worth it I would buy this for any car that didn’t come with it on factory

Works well
I had used one of these driving a friend's car, and thought I'd try a set on my elderly car, for a bit of extra safety. It took me a while to install them, and I needed my roommate's help (I am not as spry as I used to be ) but the actual installation was pretty straightforward, with useful instructions. When I went into town to try them out, they worked well. I am not sure if I like them or not, because I dislike being given orders by inanimate objects, but if you DO want something like this, it is a good value.
