Works great with good water flow rate, not so well with low flow rate
We have hose bibbs with regulated valves some sort built in, so the water flow rate on the front and back of our house isn't very good. When using the watering wand, the water seems to just dump out more than creating a rain-like pattern. I was getting really frustrated with the wand, and ended up switching back to a basic hose end spray nozzle. When I moved the wand to my garden, I hooked it up to a hose that's on a yard hydrant, which doesn't restrict water flow. The extra pressure and flow rate made a huge difference. It's working great, and creates the gentle rainfall the effect I was hoping for. If you have poor water flow, or use some sort of anti-backflow devices, this wand may not work as expected. With adequate water getting to the wand, it works extremely well.

Good wand but flow restriction is annoying
The wand is a nice length and it’s easy to squeeze the handle to engage. So far the construction is good, no leaking at the fittings. But the flow control restriction is really annoying and makes it take forever to water my large backyard garden. I’m not handy enough to do the DIY instructions I’ve seen here. I don’t regret the purchase exactly but I really wish it didn’t have this feature.I also don’t love the plastic water breaker on the end but I just replaced it with another Dramm all metal water breaker. In all a decent watering wand.

Heavier than other wands
If you have weak hands, this is probably not for you. However this item seems to be quality made and it is truly rain pressure. The water has 1 setting and there is a buckle by the handle to keep the water flowing without pressing on it.This is a simple wand. I hope it lasts for a while, which I think it will :)

Didn't hold up / But Dramm backs their products
Less than 7 months in and the unit leaks profusely at wand handle. Not repairable either. But the unit is replaceable under Dramm's lifetime warranty. Simple email and pic and a new one showed up on my doorstep in less than a week. For that simple reason I am changing my review from 2 to 5 star.

love these watering wands
Update for third order: it came with a thumb lever, not the pistol handle as pictured, and as my two previous wands. I'm disappointed, I did like the squeeze handle so I can easily turn it off between pots. I'm not returning it and I'll give it a try and see if I get used to the new mechanism but I *hate* it when amazon shows me one product and sends me something different. Come on, guys! I'm not taking off a star but it's thin ice here!(the second one got sort of frozen onto the coil hose after many years in the greenhouse and there's a leak, probably in the coil house, so it was moved outside)Second order review: This is my second one - the first one got left outside when it froze and the lever mechanism broke inside. I love these for watering the bajillion pots in the greenhouse, from tiny starts to 8' trees. It provides a nice gentle rain but a good flow, doesn't leak, is easy to use, not awkwardly long, but still I don't have to get way over close to the plants. I have another one I use outside in the garden. The gentle-rain spray action only works with a certain level of water pressure. The handle is great for on-off, and you can press a little for low, but the water will sort of dribble out. This is what I do for small starts - not ideal but it's still convenient to do everything with one sprayer. However, this model comes with a fairly large head (my old Dramm had a smaller one), which is too large for the water pressure in the greenhouse. The heads screw off so I am currently using my old head on the greenhouse sprayer. The larger head size is great for the garden where the water pressure is higher.

garbage
mine is absolute trash. water comes out all around the base of the shouwer head and it dosent give you a shower flow, more like a slowed down version of just not having a nozzle at all.dont waste your money on this

Nice big gentle rain shower, at good flow
I really like these — this is my second purchase. The only issue is that the ledge inside the connector that supports the sealing washer is too narrow (at least on the first one I bought), so it soon starts to leak, even after I tighten it. Didn't notice yet if this is fixed in the second one.

The best!
I use Dramm products every day and they have yet to disappoint - so much more reliable than any other brand I've tried.

Came Scratched and Drips
Product arrived with scratches like it had been used. When you release the handle water keeps on dripping. Can get messy if you aren’t ready for the drips. The spray when watering is awesome. Just sucks that you pay $30+ and it drips.

Not worth it for the price. Ended up taking the head off. Not great at all.
