Quartet Endura Glide dry erase markers - Colorful, erasable, and longer lasting
As an educator, I use dry erase boards and dry erase markers constantly. Some brands seem better than others, but they all seem to run out just when a student wants that particular color. I have noticed, however, that EnduraGlide Dry Erase markers seem to last longer. They have a narrow tip, which enables my students to write clearly during spelling tests or dictation exercises. Some of my students like to draw, and these markers are generally good. However, when younger students mark over colors, the new mark erases the old mark, and the marker itself absorbs the color. This does happen with most markers, so I accept this as typical. The colors are great and bright. They have a good grip. My students like them, and so do I.

Much better than Expo
These markers are much better than Expo markers. I've used Expo markers for years, because my company stocks them in the office supplies room and because local office supply stores only carry Expo. But we needed an extra white board in our hallway and didn't have time to wait for budget approval so some folks ordered one out of pocket and got some of these EnduraGlide markers. I'm astonished by EnduraGlides, compared to Expo markers: 1. The cap actually snaps on the end and stays in place (much better than the Expo pressure fit with fragile little fins). 2. You can actually see how much ink is left, and you can tell whether it *should* be failing to write, or just crapped out before its time. 3. The colors are bold and the ink flows freely (just the right amount, not too much). 4. The ink doesn't dry out when you leave the cap off for a few seconds (*sigh at Expo*). So far in two weeks of frequent usage I haven't seen the ink dry out ever with the Quartet EnduraGlide markers. It's so nice not having your train of thought interrupted every few minutes by yet another round of mortal combat with a cranky pen.

Vibrant
I'm a teacher. These are the best vibrant colors, hands down. They last a decent enough time.

Good markers, room for improvement with the caps
I bought these because I use a whiteboard to take notes with my job so I don't have to worry about shredding personal information when the call is over. They're doing fine so far. Pros: -They write well. Even when the ink is low, you can generally write on sides of the tip pretty clearly until it's completely out. -The clear sides to see the ink level is phenomenal. -They aren't terribly expensive (at least from what was available when I bought a box). -If you set it down gently, the cap will usually prevent it from rolling away. Cons: -If you don't set it down gently, the cap doesn't do much to prevent rolling away, -The cap doesn't stay on the back of the pen very well at all. It comes off pretty easily if you set the pen down cap first, and if you drop the pen at all (which I'm prone to doing, or happens when you don't set it down gently enough and it rolls off the desk) it pops off and ends up goodness-knows-where. -I'm going through a pen every one to two weeks, though I don't know if that's normal for as much as I use them. I do eight hours + a day of note-taking with them, and didn't try another brand prior to this, so it could be perfectly normal. It's still worth four stars!

Forget Expo, get Quartet EnduraGlide Dry Erase Markers. You won't be sorry!
These markers are now my go-to markers for everything whiteboard related. Colors are so vivid they almost leap off the whiteboard; they don't fade after weeks of use either (I use them mainly for my dry erase monthly calendar). Also, the tips do have a glide-like feel to them; super easy to write with. It's nice to have the visible ink meter on the sides. I don't use them very often, so I'm not sure how long the ink lasts; you may want to read other reviews to find out. Never tried the dry-out test (they claim it won't dry out over a 24 hour period, if I'm not mistaken), but based on the quality, I don't doubt the claims. Definitely ordering again should I ever need more markers. Forget Expo, get Quartet EnduraGlide Dry Erase Markers. You won't be sorry!

Best for board life!
You will never have to clean your board with any kind of solvent or detergent with Quartet marker. They will always come up cleanly and without leaving ghost letters (unless the inkwell is empty - if you have to swipe your eraser more than once, toss that one) only a thin, black dust. Once every few weeks I will wipe my board and eraser felt with a clean, dry paper towel and all the dust falls off. Board is like new every time. I use my board every day for 2-2.5 hours and I have had it for years. With Quartets I never have to use a product to clean my board. The more product you use, the quicker the film protecting the board from the ink degrades, reducing the life of the board. If you want your board to last FOREVER, Quartet is your brand!

Half satisfied, half disappointed
I ordered a pack of 12 Quartet Enduraglide dry erase markers for glass board, based on the bold teal color that my husband had that he let me use. When I received mine, I was surprised that the neon orange and green were more vivid than the teal - all the teal tubes were dull colored. All of the purples were also dull in color. I did not want to have to return the entire pack, as I was afraid that the new set would also have issues, and maybe have all of the tubes to have issues, so I watched a dry-erase market hack on YouTube where one ties a string on the bottom end of the tube and swing the string about 25 times over the head, creating a centrifugal force that causes the ink from the bottom of the tube to go toward the felt tip of the tube. Although this hack worked a bit, I still did not achieve the vivid colors that I expected from the product. It seems the lot of purple and team that came in my pack was a bad lot. The attached photo shows the purple and teal inks as compared to the pink and neon orange (the neon green us not pictured here) after the had been through the hack, which I should not have to perform in order to get expected "BOLD COLORS", as advertised.
