I no longer use my microwave in my semi. This leaves the food hot and still juicy. It doesn’t make things rubbery like a microwave. I just pull over about 45 minutes before I wanna eat, put my food in it, and get back on the road. I’d be lost without this.

i’m a local truck driver and i have no access to a microwave and rarely able to stop at a truck stop. this thing is quite possibly the best purchase i’ve made on here. it heats up my food super fast and it tastes just as good as if it were fresh. i’ve only used it three times as i’m writing this review, but so far so good.

This thing is great! I cooked a raw steak in 50 minutes. I didn't Preheat at all. I actually overcooked it, so I think 25-30 minutes would have been better... maybe. I think it can cook it to my liking (med rare) in 20-30 minutes.

The handy little bag is one of the best investments I have made and highly recommend to truck drivers and anyone else who spends anytime out and about and doesn’t have access to a microwave or other food heating device. As a local trucker with a day cab, my space is very limited as I don’t have a sleeper compartment, which many drivers who do have one, add a microwave to their trucks. Being that I am constantly on the road driving and where I work there are very few truck stops that are convenient for me to stop at so many times I would end up eating cold food that I would pack or if I had the chance to stop at a truck stop, eat junk food. With this food warmer I am able to enjoy a hot meal when the time comes for me to take my 30 minute break. With it having a plug that goes into a cigarette lighter/12v vehicle plug I don’t have to purchase a power inverter. The average time it takes to heat up food is about a hour to 2 hours depending on what you’re heating up as well as fully cook raw food such as chicken and beef in about 2-3 hours. While not as fast and convenient as a microwave, with some time management I can easily have my food ready when I am ready to eat. It does get very hot but not hot enough to boil water so there’s little to no chance that you will burn your food. Many food prep containers and Tupperware will fit and work perfectly. It is not too big and too small. Provides enough space to have a healthy portion of food and small enough to be out of the way if you have passengers or other things in your vehicle. I doesn’t require very much power to operate so I can plug it in while my truck or car isn’t running and not drain the battery to the point of needing a jump. So far I have heated up leftover tacos and it didn’t dry out the tortillas and I have cooked a steak in it as well. It’s a perfect option if you want to have hot food when there’s no way of heating up food available. Just be careful when handling after it has been turned on as the heating plate gets hot and with make the bottom hot so always grab it by the handle and set it on something that will tolerate the heat!

My boyfriend LOVES this, he does landscaping and he’s a very hard worker and needs to eat properly with the amount he does. Sometimes he misses lunch and with that hurts his weight were he is so tiny!!! To ensure he is getting properly fed and getting a good meal this is has done wonders! He gets his favorite foods nice and hot! He was shocked how hot it got to heat it. It’s perfect size to flatten and put back in his backpack. Best part is no buttons no setting no remember to open the vent he can just plug in and walk away !!! And as to my surprise it came with its own container. The only flaw was the charger was difficult to out in it almost felt like it was gonna break not sure if it’s because it’s new or the vehicle. And yes it is a mini for sure and perfect to fit and a backpack that’s also a cooler but it’s maybe a little to small for me personally, only because I would prefer to pack a deeper dish for a huge lunch but he’s fine with it which that’s all that matters. Also don’t pack to much in the container where you can’t stir. I over did it and the top of the food was still cold even after 45 min and I didn’t leave room to stir. Other than that this is a great product a must have if you work outside. Great present idea for your husband boyfriend girlfriend whoever !

Perfect to warm up lunch in the truck

I bought the pink because it was the cheapest one, it goes inside my catering bag and stays between 180°-200° F and won’t melt styrofoam packaging or plastic bags used by many fast food and dine in restaurants. It’s a game changer when there are a lot of orders and traffic is bad, or I messed up and took that GrubHub order and it didn’t come close to where I thought it was going, adding heat ensures the customer gets hot food without adding enough heat to change the cooking levels. Five stars so far, it works well so fsr. UPDATED 04/07/23 I’ve found that when I start my deliveries I plug this in gaily l to the multi cigarette lighter adapter I use, and open the insulated bag of this lunchbox fully, I can insert the entire thing into my 3 year old small DD bag that’s looking ratty on the outside, but the foil insulation inside is still perfect. This allows the foil inside the old DD bag to heat up, and it can’t contain all the the heat, so rather than having a single hot spot that’s 8 x 10 or so, it spreads the heat evenly throughout the catering bag after these two bags go inside of the catering bag to keep it ALL warm. I’m thinking about cutting the bottom of the old DD bag out to allow heat to escape more evenly. I’ll probably also cut slits in the sides to even it all out. I’ll keep anyone interested posted on my results in the coming week or two.

Bought the food warmer in 2024, best purchase ever for work. Can warm food from frozen and keep it at a very eatable temperature. Doesn’t draw too much power from the battery when left plugged in. Accidentally left it on all night and was still able to start the truck up. Been using it everyday and it’s still working great. I’ll heat my meals typically in aluminum to-go containers but will also use glass containers.

Great to have heated lunches now and not be using a gas station microwave or eating cold sandwiches any more. I drive truck for a living in town and works great. Depending on what you are heating up (frozen or not) I usually plug it in for 1 hour. If it’s is only soup probably would be less time. Find a container that is microwave safe. The container your pre made meals come in at the grocery/Walmart is probably not adequate and may melt. Find a better container. I saw someone with a melted container and they probably is a cheap container that came with the food they bought. I use a glass container or a plastic microwave / dishwasher safe container to reheat my food in. Also works fine in my Tandem truck with 24 volt batteries. Will be buying another one for a friend.

Great little cooker, cooks my dinner every night at work while i am driving, i thought it wasn’t working at first but i was putting my mobile on it and the air in the cooker couldn’t get to the top, so once i realised this i rigged a thing for it to keep the handle up so air gets to the top and around my dinner from with in the bag, works well now, defrosts my dinner every night in about 2 hours or less, don’t put things on it! It won’t cook otherwise.
