Vornado EV200 Evaporative Whole Room Humidifier with SimpleTank, 1.5 Gallon Capacity, White, EV200 - 1.5 gallon

Works great. It took a few days to get the humidity up to 45%. It was really dry in our condo. Very easy to add water. The two water tanks are great. The fan was loud for a few days while it raised the humidity from 20% to 40%. As the humidity came up, the fan got quieter and quieter. Very nice design !

So pleased with this humidifier! No damp spots from clouds of mist, no scary spots trying to grow in base or tanks (yes, I did clean the sonic ones as directed-didn’t prevent ickiness), and the easiest seasonal restart ever. The big differences are that the fan is a bit louder and the humidity takes longer to rise than with sonic humidifiers. Someday, they will have a quieter fan and I’ll upgrade. Even without, this is a great humidifier. Best of the many I’ve had.

We only used it for about 48 hours. Filled it up on night 1 and everything was great. Seemed to do an adequate job maintaining humidity. I like the large reservoirs, the noise level was fine, and the auto shut off feature is good. We run white noise all night anyway, so I don't notice any issues with fan sound. ...Then night 2 happened. While letting it run in auto mode all day, my wife called me into the room around 6:30, yelling that there was water everywhere. There was. The entire thing was sitting in a pool of water, right on top of our very expensive solid wood dresser. Which I then spent the next 30 minutes over with a hair dryer trying to get the water stains out of the wood. Whatever you do, do not buy this. Unless you're planning on putting it in a tub to catch the water which will spill everywhere.

Puchased the EV200 directly from Amazon. I really like this humidifier, but like all things there are some things I like and others that are not so hot. Pro's *Very stylish exterior. I looks like Apple designer a home humidifier. *Good output of moisture to keep the room in the 30-40% range *Tanks are very easy to lift out of unit for filling *The low or Auto fan settings keep the fan relatively quiet, suitable for use in a bedroom (where I have mine) *The 2 tank system is great. Based on the room I have the unit in, the tanks can go almost 18 hours before refilling *The vortex fan system does a great job circulating moist air throughout the room *No white dust coating the room like with ultrasonic cool mist humidifiers *Vornado Customer Service is really nice if you require their assistance Con's *The unit is loud using the "high" setting on the fan. The low or "Auto" setting for the fan is quiet. *I am not sure the "Auto" fan setting does anything. I do not hear the fan changing speeds to keep the room at the selected humidity level *The tanks, while easy to lift out of the unit, are actually refilled from the bottom of the tank - not the top. The tank cap is on the bottom of the unit. *The sleek cylinder style of the tank makes it very slippery should the exterior get wet from refilling. You need to be very careful when flipping the tank over to grab the top handle following a refill. I had one tank slip out of my hands because it was heavy and wet, causing it to crack on impact from the fall. (see photo) Vornado was very nice and replaced the cracked tank at no cost to me. All things being equal, I am pleased with the unit and would definitely purchase another one. I deducted one star for the design of the tank system requiring flipping the tank 180 degrees after filling. If the unit filled and could be carried from the top, it would be perfect.

I've had many, many humidifiers in my day. This one tops them all. It keeps my bedroom at the perfect humidity level. And I have a very large bedroom (276 sq ft). The noise level isn't bad. I have it set to auto, so it switches between on and off depending on the humidity. If you have to have a dead quite room to sleep than this may not work for you, but if you like the white noise of a fan this is perfect. The 2 water containers have huge openings making it the easiest to fill humidifier I've ever owned. No small opening here, I can stick my whole hand in it. Which, also, makes them extremely easy to clean. And they hold so much water I only have to fill them every 2 to 3 days. And the best part, because it's evaporative it doesn't leave a white dust all over the room like ultrasonic and impeller humidifiers. In closing, if you want any easy to use, easy to clean humidifier that doesn't have to be filled every day I highly recommend this one, the Vornado EV200 humidifier.

Super easy to fill, but just too loud for an office setting. If you like listening to a white noise that you cannot turn down more--then it would potentially be worthwhile.

I was previously running 2 humidifiers in our three-story townhouse. The white dust on EVERYTHING was terrible! It would even get INSIDE drawers and on the rubber around the inside of the refrigerator door!! I could dust every 2 days and not stay ahead of it. After some research, I discovered that "evaporative" was the key word to look for. I've had this humidifier running for less than two weeks and it does NOT put out any white dust!! It is AWESOME! SO EASY to fill and the noise, even running on high, is minimal. I like that you can run it continually until the humidity gets up where you want it and then run it on auto. It didn't take long for the humidity to go from 25% to 37%! I am glad I got the one with two tanks. When one gets low or empty I can just take that one off and fill it while it is still running. Love, love, LOVE this humidifier!!

We had always used ultrasonic humidifiers but for some reason this year I kept having nasty allergic reactions as soon as we started using it. Chat GPT to the rescue. Turns out the ultrasonic models vaporize everything.. minerals, and whatever is in the water so we switched to this Vornado evaporative unit. WOW.. what a difference. Wayyyyyy more moisture in the air, far less filling time and absolutely no allergic reaction, no to mention NO DUST!! Highly recommend!

The product description is very accurate. It is easy to fill and easy to clean and the sound level on low is very quiet but it does make a little noise on high but that is to be expected. I started on high when I first got it but now I can run it on low all the time. Easily humidifies a very large room (combined living room and kitchen open concept about 500 square feet). I live in a region with very hard water so I use my Brita water filter and it really seems to make a difference in reducing the mineral build up on the wicks. Overall, very pleased with the quality, design, esthetics, use and noise levels! Nice to see another rare quality product on Amazon.

Great humidifier. Works well

Out of the box it was Great, I saw the reviews about noise, thought there was no problem... about a month later... yea it's noisy... and in someway the design is cheap... the handle for the water basin's will detach... you call for support and they tell you gorilla glue that thing back on... it works ... but I've had to set up a second humidifier in the room because it needs the help... Update. I just stopped using this one. it's a waste of money. BTW personally I now recommend an evaporative humidifiers, or sonic humidifiers. and definitely not this one

I’ve been using it for a few days and it definitely makes a difference in the room’s humidity. The air feels more comfortable, especially during dry weather. It’s easy to refill and works as expected. The only downside is that the fan can be a bit noticeable at night if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, it does the job well.
