The bulbs are much brighter than the stock bulbs in many of the 4 cell flashlights that Radio Shack gave away in years past. One place where it was not usable was in the "Black & Decker Stormlight" a VersaPak product. It lights up well enough but does not go off when the flashlight is placed back in the wall charger rack like it does with a regular bulb.

I'm using 1 of the bulbs in an older 2-C Maglite, and 1 in an older 3-C Maglite. They are brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs. I tested the other 2 bulbs in the 3-C Maglite and they work fine. No duds. The light may be a tad brighter in the 3-C flashlight. The light is bluer than I usually like. I like warm white (resembles incandescent light) first, and daylight white second. These bluer ones would be my 3rd choice, but the light color is OK and the CRI (color rendition) is pretty good--no weird changes to reds or greens that I could see. I have no idea how long they will last, but the LED chip gets pretty warm in a few seconds. Hope the metal bulb body and the bulb holder in the flashlight dissipates the heat adequately or the bulb won't last long.

At the nominal voltage of my LiFePH4 cells -2S = 6.2V - those are rather disappointing. These lamps are a cheap replacementfor old Maglite light bulbs and fit in the socket loosely. No comparison to what the original bulbs deliver in Lumens but obviously have a much longer runtime. They are not individually labelled for wattage/voltage so I suspect they come from the same batch of other Amazon bulbs which are advertised for 3-12V. This would explain the low output @ 6V. I'm ok with an underperforming Maglite that's barely used but would not recommend the GLGYCB led bulbs. The price is not right.

These bulbs will NOT work in a lantern that uses a 6 volt battery that provides the negative terminal (power) to the center contact of the bulb.The center must be positive and negative to the case.

Quedan muy bien en mi linterna Maglite de dos baterías tipo D. Conseguí darle una nueva vida al sustituir la bombilla anterior que tenía que creo es de halógeno y que consume más que estás tipo led. Feliz
