Does this go into a belkin 3.0 port, Hub?

Yes, it will work with any USB port

Will it work with linux?

Mixed results. I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 on a fairly new Dell Latitude. The OS will recognize the mic under Settings-Sound. Zoom will recognize the mic, but Audacity won't. I usually use this mic on a MacMini M1, with no problems at all. I'd say that mic might not work with shareware on the LinuxPlatform.
