These are the best things I have ever found to keep our humidifiers clean all winter long! They are easy to use, just drop in water. We change them out once a month to keep it clean and very pleased with them. No more orange or green growing gunk! Just tap water and one fish and we keep the house from being too dry and prevent nose bleeds during the winter. The grandkids love to watch them. Wish they were a little cheaper but you do get what you pay for. Tried the cheaper ones and they did not hold up as these did. Will keep using every winter in every room!

I was tickled to find these as I use my humidifier nightly. Wow, these really work!!! The steam from the humidifier has a fresher smell. My humidifier does not require the degree of cleaning before I started using these. It doesn’t get as dirty. I’m so glad I found these and I highly recommend.

These little guys work really well! I run a small humidifier for my plants 24/7 and it usually gets pretty nasty a week or so after I clean it, so I have to clean it a lot. I tried one of these little fish guys and decided to really put it to the test. The humidifier remained on (not always actively emitting mist, but always on and full of water) and I left it for a month. I periodically peeked at it to make sure I wasn’t breathing in any really disgusting mold or whatever, but didn’t see any evidence of build-up like I did before I started using the fish. When one month was up, the humidifier was still incredibly clean. It had a small amount of gunk around the filter and spout areas but it was nothing compared to what it looked like before I started using the fish. These things really do work and mine held up for at least a month. I figured at that point that it was time to replace it so I did, but I honestly wonder if I could’ve gotten a bit more time out of the first one. Great value, and very effective. If you’re sick of cleaning a grimey humidifier, get yourself one of these things!

This little guy is so cute. I’ve named him Oscar. I didn’t realize till I read the instructions a few days after I started using it that you weren’t supposed to touch him (which I did, but I’m still here), have to wrap it in newspaper (haven’t seen any of those in a while) to discard it, etc. This scared me that it might not be safe to inhale the mist but I looked it up and apparently it is perfectly safe and does appear to keep the humidifier tank clean as a whistle though you are still supposed to clean it regularly. I definitely recommend it even though it’s a little pricey to replace each month which is recommended.

Mantiene limpio el tanque por ser un veneno que mata bacteria y mohos. He comprobado objetivamente (con un medidor de contaminación del aire) y subjetivamente (me arde la garganta si lo tenga cercas) que contamina al aire, lo cual invalida la idea de utilizar un humidificador para mejorar la calidad del aire. Mi humidificador es en frío, quizás con un humidificador de vapor el veneno no sale, eso no lo he comprobado. Sí queda limpio el tanque, en ese sentido cumple, por eso le doy dos estrellas.
