Oh my this is a beauty! The package and the product both are super fancy. I love the heavy duty feeling of these glass/ceramic shakers. The packaging makes this a very gift-able item itself, no need for extra wrapping. I love the multiple settings used to have course or fine grinding. I bought them to be used as spice grinders, but changed my mind when I saw how nice they were. I love the metal rack, which makes it easy to take from the kitchen to the dining room table. They even included a little cleaning brush, which will come in handy. Overall this was a very well thought out product. Its quality is outstanding, its heavy duty, but stylish at the same time! Its very easy to clean and fill. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

NOT as high-quality as everyone is saying! I read all the five-star reviews - so, yes, it looks nice on a counter and comes in pretty packaging...My issues with this:> The black plastic ring around the top is fairly sharp, and you have to press into it with your thumb every time you want to pop the lid off to use these.> Even when set to the finest grind, it shoots out large jagged pieces of salt/pepper in every direction, and FAST. It is VERY hard to be precise with these.I expect I'll suffer with it for a few months or a year, but wish I would have just bought a name-brand item to begin with. When you go to the manufacturer's web site this is the only product listed.EDIT: nine months later and I stand by my review. The salt shaker started spitting out big clumps of powdery salt, seems the salt itself has now corroded a metal (brass?) piece in the grinder, and it can no longer be taken apart to clean or inspect. (Why was this made using a metal corrosive to salt?)The seller did reach out after my initial negative review to suggest I received a defective item and offering to replace it (I disagree with the suggestion it was defective; it’s just a poorly designed/low-quality item)

I find it very functional, it is glass, lid is plastic and stainless steel, I am somewhat iffy about the quality of the stainless steel but nonetheless, I am satisfied so far with the performance especially for the price...let's see how it holds up over time re rusting.Update: I found out a few weeks after that one of the grinders was defective! Was fully satisfied with the Amazon's customer service, got a full refund so i ordered another set because i must say that i am very satisfied with the performance of the functioning one.

I have only used this a week now, so I can't say anything about how long they'll last. They were wonderfully packaged and work great. They can grind to a very fine grind, as well as a coarse grind. They look great. I would think that these work as well as other grinders in this category, which typically would cause me to give an average 3-star rating. However, these were packaged quite well and would be excellent as a gift. Also, they are very reasonably priced, lower than others in its category at the time of my purchase. Those two things bump this up to a 5-star item.

I got a set of these salt and pepper grinders for myself and liked them so much I ordered another set as a gift for my parents. They come packaged beautifully and perfect for gift giving. The holder is great for keeping them together or moving them from one location to another. The silver finish goes well with any kitchen decor. They are large and hold a lot of salt so you don't have to constantly refill them. They're easy to use and are high quality. I removed one star because they do not come with salt and pepper like some other brands do.

Very nice ‘giveable/giftable’ product. Men have no problem using, but my woman’s hands are on the smaller side and gripping the glass base is quite difficult for me. Others with stronger, larger hands would have no problems. The set looks modern with the chrome/stainless-looking parts and matching caddy. The two mills are bigger than I expected—-reading the dimensions is a good idea.

I was first introduced to this S&P grinder set at my Mom’s house and loved how attractive, sturdy and well-made they were, I knew I had to buy a few sets for myself, as I entertain quite frequently. The company had a one-set limit (bizarre) so I bought one for my kitchen and two other from another brand and seller for my long dining table which are very similar but not quite the quality and beautiful packaging these came in.

These are beautiful. We love fresh ground pepper and Himalayan salt. My husband is actually the one that spotted them. My concern was they were going to be too small and they’re far from it. They’re actually on the larger side. Not a bad thing just means more room for salt and pepper. I would order again as a gift. The glass is sturdy and the metal is pretty solid. The cost is pretty convenient.
