Unfortunately you’re not getting body armor for $60-$70 if that’s what your looking for check out redemption tactical they have some pretty good prices on level IV plates

Is the weight vest bulletproof

There was a disclaimer on mine stating that they were not intended for use as body armor, just weighted plates. So I would say no

Are these compatible with a velocity systems mayflower apc?

These plates are similar in shape to standard Level III+ and IV ballistic plates. These are STEEL. 10.8x12.8x1.3 inches (Length x Height x Width). They fit any plate carrier that accommodates this size. These are not rated for ballistic protection. They’re for loadbearing use and practice. Good for workouts and cardio loadbearing practice. Just don’t drop the 14.5lb plate on your foot or toe. It will crush it. Hope this helps.

what is the max weight the vest can hold?

I have 2 each 20 pound plates in mine. That’s about the limit. Anything heavier and the Velcro may not keep it secure.

Solid plates — start lighter than you think

These weight vest plates are well made and fit as expected. They add weight evenly and stay secure in the vest during workouts. My biggest advice: start lighter than you think—adding weight makes a bigger difference than you expect, especially for longer sessions.

High quality perfect fit. These things are very heavy. I was surprised at the small package they shipped in and my USPS person was even more surprised at how heavy they were in such a small package. Perfect for what I needed. Would be cool to see these in a 22.5lb per weight option to get up to exactly 45lbs.
