This has everything thought through- so well designed and the rainproof bag is also really well made, has access points for use as a backpacker but is also well-suited to protect while used as luggage in an airline. Love the way it opens all the way up too- instead of a top loading pack- so keeping it organized is so easy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought this for trip to Indonesia. I didn’t wear the pack but used it more like a suitcase. Moving from hotel to hotel and easy access to clothing due to the full length zipper meant I never had to unpack to have access to everything in my pack. Also, a bit plus is the airline bag it comes with. It held so much more than just the pack. Shoes, other equipment, day packs, other odds and ends, etc…, all fit inside the outer bag which almost doubled my checked bag capacity. And it just looked so cool and tidy with the large osprey logo. It was an eye catcher on the baggage claim belt. I look forward to another trip where I actually wear the pack.

Traveled to Italy for 10 days and this pack worked perfectly. My 2nd purchase..my wife loves hers and the lime green color. Lots of room and fits perfectly in the planes for traveling abroad.

Used it all over Southeast Asia this summer. Held out strong and looks great. Super comfortable to hold high loads, padding feels built to last and there’s a ton of adjustability to get the best fit. The rain, travel cover is a great bonus as nothing gets snagged when checked in or in the back of a vehicle. Amazing all the way around. One note for future versions, a hidden slot or pocket for an AirTag would be great.

Spent 5 weeks traveling Patagonia with this, taking a number of backpack trips. It's comfortable and functional. The rear-opening panel made it easy to access my gear. I carried loads up to 40 lbs with no problem. The aircover was nice to have when I checked my bag on airlines. It also functioned well as a rain cover when hiking. My only real complaint is that the side pockets aren't roomy enough to hold a water bottle when the pack is full. The pockets are pulled tight against the pack, and there's really only room for smaller items in them. I ended up carrying my water bottle in the top pocket, which is spacious, but is not accessible without taking the pack off.

This bag is superb in every sense that I could think of. The only negative I can see with it is that the top doesn't open. You have to lay it down and put things through the back. But other than that, I can't say anything bad about this backpack. 10 out of 10 stars. It's been holding up to quite heavy usage. You can cram it down tight and the weight remains manageable thanks to it's litany of straps and pulleys. It can be configured any number of ways that you could possibly want in order to shift the weight in any way.

I got this for my husband who goes on a lot of western fire deployments. The straps and frame make it very comfortable to wear and the zipper is high-quality and moves very smooth.It provides plenty of space for a 14 day trip and he loves how it opens from the front instead of the top. Great quality and a good size.

I specifically got this bag for both backpacking and traveling. Works amazing the weight transfer works really well and has alot of space. ALTHOUGH, my main issues with the bag have been putting it on, putting my arms through the straps has been pretty hard due to how narrow it is. My last complaint with the bag is it can be really hard to really pack it because of the zipper. I recommend if your looking for something specifically for backpacking/hiking look at some other options

I'm taking it on a 12 day trip and it can hold everything I need which also includes two pair of shoes which are bulky. Great pack for the price especially because the harness quality for this price you can't find elsewhere.

Muy buena, se siente robusta en los materiales se ve muy bien y es comoda al llevarla puesta. Habia pedido la de 55 y la cambie porque si sentí que no iba a funcionarme para un viaje de 15 dias y acerté. Recomendadisima!! Si vas a aplicar la mochilera completamente, igual y una mas enfocada a eso por el acolchado de la espalda. Si es viaje con caminatas normales algo largas, sin duda funciona muy bien

Very good travel backpack. Maybe not suited as well for hiking/camping but would still work for sure. The rain cover that doubles as a cover for air travel is a great addition to keep straps and buckles from snagging.

Ho utilizzato questo zaino per fare un viaggio di qualche mese nel sud est asiatico. Sono riuscito a metterci dentro magliette, pantaloni, mutande, calzini, piumino, un paio di scarpe, un paio di birkenstock, le infradito, un lenzuolo da letto e altri accessori. Comodo il fatto che si apre completamente e non solo dall'alto. Veramente comodo il sostegno per la schiena. Coprizaino un po' ingombrate e pesante, però ottimo per coprire completamente lo zaino per imbarcarlo. Tasche laterali molto ampie. Bisogna imparare a sfruttare bene tutti gli spazi e le corde esterne.
