uxcellShoelace Locks Buckle Aluminum Elastic No Tie Shoe Lace Turnbuckle, Glossy

Excellent product. Came in navy blue color to blend in with shoe color and laces color.
Work perfectly for changing shoes from "bow-tie" laces with very limited stretch, to maximum elasticexpanding laces (+150%), which "convert" the shoes to truly fit your feet during all movements and make them much more comfortable. Plus it makes the appearance of the shoes to look better.

these are great, here is some tips.
1. You need to slide them on before cutting the lace ends. And be very careful from that point on to make sure that you keep them on the cord until they are secure.2. Don't try to tie a knot. Make sure you use a synthetic lace, Kiwi laces you can pick up at the pharmacy work just fine. take a lighter and melt the ends of the cut laces to secure them in these screw buckles.3. You will want multiple laces your first time doing this, you can always push the buckle back and cut and melt again, but you can't make them longer, depending on the laces you use, you might find after a week of ware, they will stretch out and you might have to make them shorter. Also consider that you might want to set them up a bit loose, then take the side back that would help center the buckle. I'm quite happy with my first try, but it's wise to get two sets of cheap synthetic laces.4. these lock the laces into the last "set eyelet" (shoe lace hole) you put them through, so they are ideal with boots where the top two eyelets are "hook eyelets". I have worn sneakers with fixed laces on fashion sneakers for years, I'm not rushing to replace my sneakers with these, locking them into the top set eyelet works just fine for me (again i use the melt and flatten method for this too). But every set of boots i own with hooks will receive this treatment from now on.

Does the job, not sure on the durability.
They do the job. I used elastic type laces and did not have an issue with getting the knot to slide into the barrel. These are supposed to be aluminum but they feel like they are a light weight plastic. Hopefully they hold up.

Too small for lace knot to fit inside
The lace locks are very attractive and would have looked amazing on my boots. However, the smaller side of the lock (the one that screws into the other side) is much too small for a knotted lace to be pushed inside of it. The laces on my boots are very thin round laces. Only the thinnest of laces is going to be able to be knotted and tucked into the lace lock. It's too bad because these truly are nice looking. I had purchased the brown color.

Didn’t work for my laces.
I tied the knot in my laces and it would go over it. They’re pretty beefy laces so I tightened that knot as tight as humanly possible and it still wouldn’t go over it. I have some on my other shoes that I bought from a different brand, but those laces are also thinner. I think you have to have pretty small/thin laces for these to work.

Shoelace locks
These shoelace locks work great! I replaced the silver with these black ones for my husbands shoes. He likes the black locks better than silver on his shoes

No fuss no mas
Easy to follow instruction in the amazon picture. No fuss no mas unlike the first no lace I purchased which were too fussy. This and the other product (Vesonny) ehich I purchased were easy to install.
