Color is on point. Was able to do this costume for 3 different events for her from 2 bottles. So did her hair 3 different days. Color is amazing. I’m surprised how vibrant and vivid the color is. It coats the hair. It doesn’t wet it and weighs it down. Kind of like a dry hair color paint. Similar to dry shampoo aerosol can. I bought 2 different generic Halloween red can hair sprays and her hair was still brown and wet at that. I then ordered this and I am sooo glad I did. I read the reviews and they didn’t lie. It’s not 100 percent transfer proof, but it is pretty darn close. Doesn’t just fall off or flake either. FYI: We put a trash can bag over her body with arm holes and a head hole and then did her hair. Do it outside or somewhere you don’t mind it getting in the ground because the first time, everyone had red bottom socks after from walking around. It doesn’t overspray around you. Worked great though! Will definitely be buying this brand for any other hair coloring event.

I wanted to be poison ivy for halloween this year but i was super on the fence of the red hair and scared it would look dumb. I was shocked how vibrant this color was on my brown hair (with some blonde highlights)! Everyone asked if i had a wig on all night. Reviews mentioned the color payoff on skin and clothes so i expected that, but it was pretty annoying being covered in red especially because it made my face makeup look super yellow lol. i bet there’s some way to make it not rub off, i also had to use 1 1/2 bottles on my head. Also worried about staining but i had it on for around 6 hours and shampood 4 times it came right out.

Bought this for a Halloween event and thought I would do a test run to see how the color worked before I went to work one morning. The plan was to try it check out the color and then wash it out. Well I did wash it out in my hair at least it left a little pink residue around the ends of my hair. That actually lasted about a week even after using clarifying shampoos. I do have highlights in my hair so that could be part of the reason just want to give full disclosure. Other than that the color was absolutely what I was looking for however after what happened I did not use it for the event and instead sprayed it on a blonde wig and wore that instead.

This looked great on my daughter’s hair but was beyond hard to clean off surfaces that it got on. I finally figured out that dish soap and a washcloth cleaned it the best. Even in the shower I thought it would just rinse down the drain but there were several spots that I had to get down and scrub. The same thing was true for skin. I had to wash off with a washcloth to get it off the bottom of my feet from being in the shower while rinsing it out of her hair. I discovered this the hard way when I saw that I was leaving pink footprints in my bathroom. The blue spray we used from a different brand did not give us the same trouble.

I used this for my Starfire cosplay, and it turned my dark hair very red. It looks great! Works super well on dark hair, but it does get everywhere. I used hairspray to try to seal it in a little more. Not sure if it worked, but it definitely turned my hair red. It washed out in the shower with a few shampoos but wasn't too hard to get out. Highly recommend.
