Anker iPhone X Case, iPhone 10 Case, KARAPAX Breeze Case Soft TPU Cover Shell Military-Grade Certified [Support Wireless Charging] [Anti Scratch] with 3D Texture Protective Case for Apple iPhone X

This review is two part: First for the case itself, second for Anker as a company.I bought two of these cases, one for my iPhone X and one for my spouse's, prior to the release of the phones. They are good looking cases, but a bit slippery when compared to a rubberized case. Both phones wirelessly charge with the cases on when used with an Anker charger. My wife's case is still going strong, but she never removes it from the phone. My case frame just cracked, near the ringer/vib button, but I remove my case weekly to clean the phone and get the grit out that inevitably gets into the case, so there is probably some fatigue factor at play here. I was going to just toss the case and buy another Anker case, but Anker offered to send me a replacement, with very little fuss. Basically, they wanted to know where the case failed, and where I had purchased it... Easy! And once again Anker has earned a loyal customer. I have many of their products and will continue to purchase them based on the quality of the products, and the integrity of their customer service!

Unfortunately I didn't care much for this case. I love Anker products and own many of their chargers, batteries, and other small accessories but this one was a bust. There are many positive reviews of this case around; mostly from people who got the case before they had an iPhone X to try it out with. The build quality is good, as expected, but in practice it leaves a bit to be desired. I have no doubt it's very protective (no drops yet to confirm) but the case itself is made from a very slick material and does not have a good hand feel. The ridges on the back are very slight and don't have much grip.If they remade this case with some soft-touch or grippier material it would be a winner as the manufacturing is excellent. It is a bit hard to get on and off (although this just meant it's precisely engineered).

It's a lovely case, a snug fit, a wonderful, subtle striped texture on the back, and nice rims around the openings like the lock switch and camera. My trouble, if you can call it that, is with the spots where the case's rubberized plastic covers the lock button. The volume buttons click just fine, but the standby button has no click. I don't know if the plastic is too thick, or how all of that works, I just know that I have to squeeze that part of my phone and then place my faith in the laws of physics, that the intended message was sent to the button to lock. There is absolutely no tactile feedback in clicking that damned lock button. It's not such an annoying problem that I've given up the case, but rather, a little regular, recurring thing that makes me sigh and wish it weren't so as I use my phone dozens of times a day.

So I bought this case before I received my iPhone X based on the reviews I’ve read on Anker products. Once I received my phone, the cover was mildly difficult to get on the phone, but it’s clear that it’s designed that way to protect the phone. The case is stylish and compliments the look of the phone and does support wireless charging. The case appears to be durable, but who wants to drop an $1,100 phone to find out? I was only slightly disappointed that you had to purchase the glass cover separately. Believe everything you’re reading about how slippery it feels in your hand, though I haven’t dropped it yet, it does feel like that in your hand so be careful. I do however agree that for the money this case is hard to beat, at least for now.

As many others mention the packaging looks good and feels as if you spent more than what you paid which is a good thing. Holding it also has a nice feel to it, smooth, not slippery, and also a bit of grip. The only thing I would say that is remotely bad about it is the added bulk to the phone, however, this is not the cases fault. The fault is on the phone itself, for those who have the X and compared it to previous iPhones, you will notice the difference in thickness in terms of feel. The case might feel like its adding much more bulk, but it is really not. The case is slim, but with enough bulk to it that it does not feel as if you bought it to just show off the case. Plus it has a raised lip for the back camera so it does not completely touch the table or ground at all. As far as a slim case goes, this one has a better feel to it compared to most, if you want protection over style though, you might want to look elsewhere as this leans more so to style.

This is my first Anker product. I’ve always used other brands purchasing from Amazon for my devices starting with the iPhone 3G. When I saw the design of this case, I really liked the look of it and wanted to give it a try, since it was very affordable. I was looking forward to use this case for my iPhone X.However, the feel of the case is very slippery in my hands. I would say I am very sure handed, I’ve never dropped and cracked a screen on any of my devices before (knocked on wood) ;-)! I do not feel confident with my iPhone X using this case. I gave it a chance, using it for a couple of days, but I got nervous every time the phone slipped when I handled it, so I went back to my old faithful. I gave it 2 Stars for the look and design, I wished the grip was better because I really like how it looked. I hope this helped you make your purchasing decision.

I had my first case in the bronze finish, which is photographed, last me 2+ years, since the launch of the iPhone X. Absolutely fantastic price and value, which I believe was $10 at launch. The replacement I ordered in gunmetal has now snapped on the outer band as well. I’m a bit disappointed with the longevity of this one, but maybe I’ve been rough with it, knowing how durable the last one was. That being said, the phone inside is still flawless and I can’t complain too much! I guess I’m ordering a third.

It is not bad, seems to be good enough, but I would not recommend buying it, It is not grippy, It is slippery, you don't get the grippy rubber feeling...Although my opinion about this case hasn’t changed, Anker contacted me and offered me a new one accordingly my needs, for free... and the only they sent me, it was exactly what I needed it, even better than the one offered for 40USD by Apple (Silicone Case). My wife like it so much, so I ended up ordering a second one for her

I’ve read good and bad reviews, however I’ve always loved Ankers products and this case is no different. Whilst out walking the dog I dropped my phone, now they could improve this case with more grip on the sides, however, I dropped my phone from chest height, I’m 5’10 and it was a gravel pavement. My heart stopped for a second however, the case took a battering, it’s quite badly damaged unfortunately, but my new iPhone X - completely unharmed! I’m taking a star away because the case is quite slippery in your hand and like I said more grip would be beneficial but thank you Anker for saving my phone!

Bought this Anker Case after having a Anker Ulta Protective Case on my iPhone 6 Plus for two years, it’s a good fit on my iPhone 6 Plus, with good side grip for holding, dropped it many times, no damage, got this Breeze case for my iPhone X the other day, nice looking elegant Case, but the hard plastic bumper that surrounds it is smooth below the side buttons where it held, which gives a less confident feel when holding it, Anker could have engraved a tactile grip strip onto the plastic bumper below the side buttons where it’s held to grip it more confidently in your hand, but it’s a well made, elegant, extremely well packaged case, my previous iPhone 6 Ultra Case had a ridged rubber side which was good to grip, Could do better Anker ?

The case is very easy to install and offer amazing protection for your phone. I just bought my second one as the old one broke after about a year. The case itself didn't break, just the little bit of plastic around the outside as I'm not very careful with my phone.Would recommend!

Very simple but very effective protection for the iPhone X! At such a great price, it was a no-brainer...

Shock protection seemed good but I couldn’t put up with the look or feel of the case, felt cheap and was very slippery, not what I expected from Anker.
