Does the job of protecting the plastic covers
It does the job well. Note it is a little tricky to stick it properly. You need to slightly wet the area where u want to apply this. Then you apply it as needed and crease out any imperfections. Then let it dry and it will look fantastic

I’m very happy with the product!
I got this door sill protector to go over the metal part on my BMW X7. It’s a brand new car and I didn’t want people to scratch the metal part. I think this will work great! It wasn’t super difficult to install, but takes time and patience. What I found to be helpful was to attach it at one end and then pull at about a 25° angle backwards using your other hand to flatten it. That seems to work the best to get the air bubbles out. I didn’t get all of them out, but it’s fine. I cleaned the sills really good with Windex before application. You definitely don’t want any dirt under the tape. It also comes off and does not leave a residue. I’m very happy with the product!

Have a Nice Finish
This tape is great for protecting sills of a car but I do not know how it would go exposed to the sun on the exterior of the car. I am currently testing it on my number plate to see if it yellows but I will not know for a year or so. It is a pity there was no documentation with this product.However recommend for door sill protection where there is no direct sun- it does a great job.
