Bear Creek Soup Mix, Creamy Potato, 10.5 Ounce

This potatoes soup has become a staple in my house. It's easy to prepare and great without adding anything to it. Superior flavor over canned soups. I add bacon pieces, sour cream and cheddar to it sometimes for loaded potate soup. I have also used it as a starting point for quick seafood chowder, adding garlic, Old Bay and seafood. The fact that it's shelf stable and light weight packaging means I can keep it on hand and whip up something delish whenever I don't have time to cook.

I like to let the soup simmer on low for about an hour so the potatoes get real nice and soft. I also love to add broccoli or carrots to it and it is so yummy. It lasts 2 days so and that's with two people eating it. It is quality, great price and tastes great. Oh and it smells so good when it's cooking. I was thinking about making it in the Crock-Pot one day.

Great pantry staple. Easy, quick and taste pretty good. The only thing I would say is the draw back, they've cut the size of the potatoes in half, so don't cook longer than suggested or they disappear.

Very good as potato soup or add clam juice and chopped/baby clams and maybe some bacon for a quick new england style clam chowder!

I like this brand and it’s pretty easy to make. I am happy that they have it on Amazon because I can’t find it in the stores. Not salty at all and the price is good. I’ll be ordering more in the future. My family likes it makes enough for at least three people.

Best potato soup mix ever. I do however add real fresh potato cut up small cubes for extra hearty ness and real potato flavors. Also consider adding some fresh cooked Italian sausage or even jimmy dean sausage for delish hearty flavor too w shred cheddar cheese. Overall an excellent product.

I love potato soup. Used this as the base and added my own veggies too. I wanted it to be a bit thicker so added a bit of half and half; then I took a small container of Bob Evan’s mashed potatoes and whisked it in. Oh my, best soup ever!!
