EGOHOME Twin 12 inch Memory Foam Mattress for Back Pain Relief Medium Firm

We've had our previous mattress for over 10 years. We had a Pillow Top Spring mattress. It was never really comfortable for me but it was comfortable for my husband. But then again, he's a type of man that can sleep on anything. Me on the other hand, I'm a sensitive sleeper, so I felt every coil of the that mattress. I felt like the princess from Princess and the Pea. Over time, our mattress got worse and it began to sag. So we put boards under the mattress to try to balance it. It wasn't much help. Because of that mattress, I've have neck pain, back pain, leg pain, and foot pain. I would get out the bed limping every morning and throughout the day. And this was going on for at least a year. I couldn't take it anymore so I started doing so research on mattresses. I kept getting drawn to Memory Foam mattresses. So we began comparing prices between Amazon and other in-person Mattress Stores; it was a no brainer price-wise to get a Mattress on Amazon. So we took a gamble and settled on this Mattress. I was a bit hesitant to do it, and it even took me a little over a week to actually make the purchase. But I did. The first night on the mattress, I felt like I had made a mistake. I wasn't comfortable, but I wasn't in pain like I was with the other mattress either. But what I noticed the next day when I got out of the bed, was interesting. I wasn't limping anymore! I even noticed I got out the bed faster than I have been. I thought it was all in my head. So I gave myself a week to really test it out. Because I've read that when you get a new mattress, your body needs time to adjust to something new. It's been 4 months and I can honestly say that this Memory Foam Mattress has truly improved my quality of sleep! I'm no longer in pain! I get a full night's sleep! And I no longer dread getting into bed. Some days, I can't wait to get in bed! My husband can feel the difference as well. He says it feels like the mattress is giving you a big hug. And I love that for him. Shoot... I love that for us! *wink* We got the 12 inch mattress. And it's the perfect thickness for us. We took the mattress out of the box, it inflated in a manner of minutes! So of course we had to "test it out" *wink*. This Memory Foam Mattress gets 5 stars out of us! Do yourself a favor and buy this mattress. You will not regret it!

Just got it delivered. I will be updating my review in a week or two. Based on initial looks: Medium quality. Nice design, size seems correct. ( I got king size). Based on initial feel: Everybody is different but I would suggest reading reviews and considering feedback carefully. I was getting mixed messages on this mattress being too soft or the exact opposite; based on reviews I read. However, there was more people commenting how soft it is and being too soft. Now that I have it here in my home...well I havent slept on it for a night yet as I will allow the full expansion first, but I can say that just laying on it feels like you are sinking into the mattress. I suppose I am used to boxspring and coil mattress setups, but this is almost uncomfortably soft/squishy to lay on. I hope it gets better as time goes by and I hope to get used to it, like it even. It would be one huge hassle to try and return at this point.. I think with a boxspring or the right bed frame you could get some more comfortabilty out of it. Update:*********** Honestly I have been having great sleep. The mattress is not as uncomfortably soft as previously I was concerned with. Itis perfect for me. You do sink into it a bit, but it is more of a medium firm sinking feeling. You get an initial sinking feeling when you lay on it or lean against it from the edge, however it is hard to explain as it does not get firm necessarily but it does feel supportive. Soft support I suppose you could say. Either way, I love the mattress so far and I will update my review again in 6 months. LATEST UPDATE- FEB 2026 This is the mattress for me. Give it some time and you might just feel the same way. It is, in my opinion, a perfect combination of soft, squishy, sinking feeling, mixed with firm, supportive, wrap around the body comfort all in a low budget mattress. I never thought I would buy a mattress online but very thankful I did. This mattress is worth much more than they sell for in my opinion.

I’ve been very happy with this memory foam mattress. It’s comfortable, provides excellent support, and gently adapts to my body while I sleep. Since I started using it, I’ve been sleeping much better and waking up feeling rested without the aches and stiffness I used to have in the morning. It has the right balance of softness and support, making it comfortable in different sleeping positions. Overall, it’s been a great investment for a better night’s sleep, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive mattress.

I had a king size mattress that was from nectar. I've been looking high and low for a mattress as kind of similar at less of a cost.... I understand it's not nectar and I came across ego. It looked very promising. Read the review I was hopeful. And multiple layers. All of that stuff that I thought it'd be very similar or even close to the nectar which I am far from wrong. I am 230 lb, my nectar never really had any issues where I sunk in super far into the mattress. I felt supported aligned but not too soft where this mattress I sink in. So far you thought I bought a super plush soft mattress. When you initially lay on it it feels supportive. It feels great but when you sleep you wake up and you are so far indented into the mattress. It becomes not supportive. It's not great for side sleepers or belly sleepers cause you sink in... Heck, you might as well not even use a pillow and just lay on the mattress itself because you sink in so deep that your neck is higher than your hips. I wanted to hope that this mattress would help my problems I'm having. I had to downgrade to a queen because of moving. So far I hate this mattress. It's not supportive at all. I'm hoping in some way shape or form I can order a nectar and return this because I hate it that much. I'm just so frustrated I was hoping to save but It's horribly uncomfortable. This would be the second mattress I tried from Amazon. I'm done. I tried to figure out to see if it would be comfortable enough and supportive and this one said medium firm so I was hopeful and it's not. It's not a true medium firm. More soft than you think of you weigh 230 lbs

The mattress arrived quickly, which we appreciated, and was easy to get set up. We gave it the recommended amount of time before using it. We’ve slept on it for 2 weeks now. Unfortunately, the mattress is softer than I was imagining for “medium-firm”. You really sink into it. It’s still comfortable, but very plush. Also, I feel like this mattress is heating up more than cooling. I’m a little disappointed. But it’s still a good mattress for the price. If I were to buy it again- I think I’d go for the 14 inch “firm”. If you’re in between which to get, I’d go ahead and try to upgrade. Maybe that’s better!

This mattress is amazing! So I bought a mattress last year in March and by April of this year I was so done with it. The mattress messed up my back so much and I knew I wanted to get a new one but I wanted to be very thorough in my research for the new mattress because I didn’t want to repeat the pervious experience. I saw this one and sat on it for a few months, read the reviews that came in and compared it to others on the site. Ultimately I decided on this one because of the materials within the mattress were much different than the old one. I let it sit for about 15 hours and it expanded to the full 12 inches. The order went away within that timeframe as well. I don’t have a bed frame for it yet and put it on top of the old one for the time being and it’s held up great. You sink in a bit but let me tell you this mattress hugs you which I didn’t have that before. I can’t feel my husband or babies move around when I’m on it either. I have been sleeping on it for about a week and it’s been the most restful week in the past year.

My wife and I love this mattress, if you like a firm mattress, you'll love this one. Our old spring mattress was hurting our backs, after about a week both our backs started feeling better and have had zero back pain from sleeping on it. Had it for a year now. One of the best things about this Mattress is you can flip it over, so it extends the life twice as long. You just have to remove the cover and flip it over. Would definitely buy it again.
