California Custom Purple Metal polish & Aluminum Deoxidizer Kit exceeded my expectations. I've been struggling to find a polish for the stock wheels of my Harley. I've tried most of the tricks in the book, including 0000 steel wool in conjuction with the polish. This product stands head and shoulders above everything I've tried, and I've tried a lot. As a test run, I first used it on the brake and clutch levers. I was absolutely blown away, not just by how amazing they looked, but by how easily they polished to a chrome finish! I can't tell the difference between the polished levers and the chrome mirrors an inch away. They absolutely look chromed, and with very little effort! It's a two step process. Follow the instructions. I spent less than a minute applying the deoxidizer, another 4 or 5 minutes letting it dry, and approximately 4 or 5 minutes polishing with the purple polish. Unbelievable! I tried Flitz, Simichrome, Black Diamond Never Dull and Mothers on the other lever, spending appx 5 minutes each, and 25 min total of rubbing. I could not achieve the same result in the same amount of time and effort. In the pictures, the first two very shiny chrome looking lever is Cali Customs. The 3rd pic is the lever I used all the aforementioned polishes. Eventually and perhaps using a polishing machine I'm sure most the other polishes could achieve the same result, but why bother? Applied to my 10 years old wheels, I did not achieve the same chrome look (yet), but I plan on using a buffer, so am not done with them yet. Still, they cleaned up better than ever, came to a very nice shine, and corrosion and stains were significantly reduced or removed. I'm extremely pleased with the results and ease of use of this product. While it might be expensive, it's a great value simply because it works exceptionally. What I've learned is no one metal polish is better than the other. Any one of them will outperform the other depending on the metal and/or task, as well as the amount of time and energy you are willing to expend. My personal experience with this product for my particular task is that I'm blown away and still in disbelief by the exceptional results, speed, and the least amount of effort required

First I want to say I was skeptical about ordering this. I saw where it was supposed to be minimal polishing and then I saw somebody post they had to really polish a lot. I don’t mind really polishing and giving elbow grease if I get results. I have been working on my polished aluminum wheel on my motorcycle for days. Trying to get the haze off of it. I have it in a show tomorrow I googled something that would help me and the purple polish and aluminum cleaner came up. I decided I would try it. I was ready to try anything. I even tried the old thing of cornstarch. This stuff was delivered today and I am truly amazed. Yes, you do have to scrub on it if you want the best results, but it is worth every bit of scrubbing to me to see my polish aluminum comes through and shine five stars only because that’s all I could give it if I could give it 10 I would. I will definitely order more when I need to. That’s the other thing be two bottles that came as a set. You do not have to use a whole lot at a time it will last. I am truly impressed. You’ve definitely earned a new customer.😁

Purchase to clean up the toolbox on the back of my 2002 truck. Thought the process would be much more messy than it was. Took off the toolbox, put it onto the garage floor, opened the garage door, and began work on the toolbox. I cut up an old towel and wore rubber gloves. Worked in sections as instructed. A lot easier than I thought. Surprised to see “steam” released from chemical reaction. Loved watching the shine develop after putting down the purple solution. The towels are in the garbage along with the rubber gloves-too dirty to salvage, but the toolbox shines! Took about 1-1/2 hours start to finish.

It worked, but it was not a magical solution. Lots of buffing still required.

This product works! I ordered the product to remove spots on the aluminum portion of my 24 HD Street Glide. Nothing else I tried would do the job. The 2 step process had my wheels looking better than the day I picked up my bike. I will continue to use this awesome product!!

Tried this on a small section of an aluminum box on the front of our trailer. Worked GREAT with not much effort. Am now committed to cleaning all three boxes.

This product worked, but not anywhere as good as in the video. I made sure to follow the instructions to a T but it just didn’t shine like the other products I tried. The deoxidizer definitely helps remove spots from the diamond plate. I was using it on. It also takes a lot of elbow grease and wiping.

I tried this product after watching a video online. My trailer has a lot of polished aluminium checker plate that became dull over time. This product makes it very easy to bring back the original polish. Some effort is needed but it is way less than I imagined.

This product works! We used it to shine up an aluminum tool box that has been in the truck box for 16 yrs. It is easy to use and brings back that polished shine.

Brought my classic trucks wheels back from heavy oxidizing to looking like new.I did them by hand with lots of elbow grease.Next time I'll try using a small buffer,but over all pleased with the product
