Mark Wilson's Cyclopedia Of Magic: A Complete Course Paperback – Import, 26 January 1996

I purchased this book at the young age of 6, from a B dalton none the less. I'm a professional magician of over 15 years and i can say. i just realized i couldnt find my copy anywhere after doing some spring cleaning. I tore apart my room, prop suitcases, even went to my mothers house to look in some old boxes i had. Ordering a copy wont replace the bond i had with my long lost copy, but this book is worth having on the shelf for any magician. If you have a young one looking into magic, its inexpensive, detailed, and friendly for all ages.

(il me parait plus vieux !!)Si son format de 11cmx13cm est surprenant, ce n'est pas un handicap.Sont traités les domaines magiques des :Cartes (avec de nombreuses techniques)/Pièces/Cordes/Foulards/Balles éponge/Gobelets et muscades (14 pages)/Accessoires à fabriquer soi-même/Grandes illusions.Pour chaque tour expliqué (avec une clarté absolue), M. Wilson donne en plus des conseils de présentation.Et surtout, les grandes illusions expliquées sont faciles à fabriquer soi-même, et à présenter par un amateur (qui aurait : de l'espace & 1 ou deux partenaires complices)C'est un excellent livre.

This is THE manual for an aspiring magician. Good, clear explanations allow you to create the tricks yourself and execute them like a pro.

Didn't realise when I bought it just how compact this book is. It's tiny and handles like a small brick. Perfect for leaving in the loo for those study moments. For serious reading the companion book "complete course..... Is the one to go for!
