Rv insulation alternative
I used this on the interior bedroom walls of my motorhome to reduce noise while sleeping. Because the top layer is foil-like it was easy to rubbed fingers around window trim and then make the cuts to fit snug. A few times (doing this solo) it did stick to itself in the beginning until I got the hang of it. I went horizontal...so kind of a pain. The sticky backing is very strong and the included rollers made a quick job done flawlessly. It did hang on the wall several days before I put paneling over it and in that time a couple holes where I wasn't careful about it. I don't think that is going to make any difference though. As for heat barrier I cannot express the cooler bedroom I now have. The day after I finished it was 102° and it wasn't hot inside. I plan to do the rest of walls this way in the future as warm weather rvs heat up quickly. I'm curious to find out if winter will keep the heat in and cold out. Already ordered another roll. The thickness and length you get cannot be beat.

backing for adhesive side tears apart very easily and makes it hard to get off
Overall the product was easy to work with and made a great difference for insulation. It also worked for the head liner replacement insulation. Was very pleased with your product.

Purchased for an old truck
Purchased this to use in an old 1960 Ford truck restomod and I'm not disappointed. Very dense and adhesive is almost too good, not much room for mistakes so be careful! I've tried many others in the past and this is the best yet

Good Product Reasonably Priced
I used this in conjunction with Siless Black 50 mil 52 sqft Sound Deadening mat to reduce noise and vibration inside the cab of my Polaris Ranger 1000. This product was the second layer and did a decent job of reducing noise. There was little to no noticeable smell and the thickness seemed spot on for my application. This was a bit of a pain to work with, both in cutting and peeling the cellophane adhesive backing (it tears on edges very easy and is very difficult to get started). The adhesive is much stronger than the foam, which means once it touches a surface, it tends to stick so well that you'll tear the foam layer off when you try to reposition - so, get it in the right place the first time and don't forget to tape all of your seams... The install learning curve is the reason for 4 vice 5 stars. I haven't evaluated durability at this point, but overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

decent deadner but not very sticky, and in some instances it just wouldnt stay adhered.
2.5 stars due to adhesion, not performing as well as it should.decent deadner but not very sticky, and in some instances it just wouldn't stay adhered.it starts out as 200 mil, but by the time you go over it a 20 times with the roller it squashes it alot.it does a good job at dampening and reducing vibrations on panels, but its hard to get it to adhere correctly.decent amount for price, but not sure if i would buy again, would prefer something with better adhesive.ive had a few 7x7" pieces that i went over with the roller many m,any times using quite a bit of force, and still middle parts are lifting in areas. and i did clean all areas first with alcohol.its odd but it seems to stick better to plastic trim pieces than metal.
