I was pleasantly surprised that the flashlight is made of aluminum. The light is very bright and worked well. Be mindful, the light takes 6 AA batteries.

A must have for automotive a/c leak detection.

Good for finding oil leaks

Works great! Had a coolant leak, and took to a mechanic 2. They kept claiming the couldn’t find it and it must be the head gasket (but the symptoms didn’t line up). I ordered this, and my son and I crawled around and under my RAM 2500, we found the leak within 5 mins. Took it to a different mechanic, it was apparently a common 6.4 hemi issue. That was a $350 fix vs $7000 inaccurate fix.

This stuff is amazing! What a great development in auto mechanical repair. I used to spend hours guessing where leaks were, and second-guessing gasket repairs and seals. Now, you just put some of this in the oil and run the vehicle a bit, then turn on the UV light and look for glow-in-the-dark streaks. It’s super obvious! Like a line pointing to the leak. And, when there is no leak, so satisfying to see non-ambiguous confirmation. Now part of my “go-to” kit. It’s also like a bootleg CSI kit…so, you know, you can use it to see how clean your hotel room actually is (now you know).

This light is more than bright enough to find leaks even without the glasses.

It takes 6 AA batteries. Enough said.

Use for hvac work . Definitely a lot cheaper compared to name brand uv lights. No issues with it at all

It stopped working right after the guarantee was over. And I only used it twice

The parts are good but assembly is terrible. Negative wasn t grounded to the body. Wasn t properly wired. LED don t all work. Had it been properly assembled would ve been 10/10
