Case fit well and comfortable but the outer soft layer started peeling after 5-6 months. In order to get it covered under warranty you have to remove the case (leaving your phone vulnerable) and ship it back to Speck at your cost. They will then determine if they are going to cover the product... questionable warranty. I don't know how other manufactures handle this aside from Pelican. I had a Pelican case on a prior phone that developed problems after almost two years. They had me submit pictures of the issues with the case, approved the warranty and sent me a new case for $5 shipping. Reasonable to me given it was a $50 case.

Case is pretty good at protecting my phone, but I haven't dropped it badly enough yet to confirm. The inner silicone(?) part of the case peeled in the first month of using it. No special force was put on it; it just peeled one day without me even noticing, and it just continues to peel more and more. Not worth the money, don't recommend.

I like the case: my phone fell to the ground multiple times and the case protected it well. It's been a couple months and now that I take the case off(with much effort) - the phone underneath is in pristine condition. I must admit the case is way more slippery then I anticipated, hence 4 starts. I'm really not comfortable holding my phone out in any tricky situation.UPD: reducing to 3 stars. Usually my cases lasted me at least 2 years easily. This one was more expensive and fell apart in a year and half. Need to get something new...

Love it so far. Haven't dropped it yet, but that's not something I'm willing to try simply for the sake of science. I can tell you I loved my last speck case though, and I dropped my phone countless times; never once did my screen crack. That case outlived my desire to use an iphone 5. This one is a wonderful color green. I always pair it with a screen protector and have had no issues in the past. I think the texture is fine. If you are worried about it slipping, as other people have mentioned, then just buy the version of this case with the anti-slip grip lines....I find the surface to be less slippery than an uncovered iphone, but are there less slippery options out there? Sure.

Ordered this case to replace the same model that took it's last hit square on the corner of the phone and cracked. The case does a fantastic job of protecting the phone and the raised edge on the front ensures that if it falls face down the screen won't scratch or crack. Highly recommend and very reasonably priced for the quality you get.

I have literally only had this case for a week. I got a new phone like 3 days after I got it, I went to take this case off my old phone and put it on my new one and It cracked all the way across the back. I contacted the company they said there was nothing they could do.Side note: it is also super slippery

I really liked the previous cases I had from this company for my iphone. This one was cheaper, and it shows in the durability and robustness of materials. I thought it was just the Army green color that was the reason for discount. The pieces of hard plastic in one of the corners began to break and fall out within a month or so of regular use. It is still holding together, months later, but if it fell on that corner, it may not be protected. I will need to purchase one of the more robust cases from the same company sometime soon.

Nice sleek look and feel, but man, this it case was as slippery as a wet bar of soap! I was bummed, I usually love Speck products but I had to get a different case because I couldn’t stop dropping my phone.

Great case to protect my iPhone 8. Fits really well and has protected my phone from few drops already. Scratching the case rather than my phone.The only thing I would say about the one I got is that it is smooth on the back. This is great for putting in pockets and clothing etc but when on table tops and other surfaces that are smooth it can be a bit slippery.I will probably get the one with more rubber lines on the back called the Presidio Grip in future to hopefully stop it from slipping on smooth surfaces.Had a few cases from Speck before for previous iPhones including 4 and 5 and would recommend them and only used them since then due to the good fit and quality of protection.

Purchased product end of August, and by start of December the case had started to deteriorate. By end of December, it was a mess and looked incredibly scruffy. Bearing in mind the other reviews, I can barely believe that this product is still being sold.

Eigentlich sind die Speck Presidio Hüllen hochwertig und sehr schützend, sollen 3 m Stürze abfangen können.Qualitativ noch besser ist m. E. nur die Otterbox Symmetry, die aber auch etwas dicker ist.Die Speck trägt trotz sehr gutem Schutz nur wenig auf, ist für eine solche Schutzklasse optisch slim und auch vom Gewicht her leicht. Die Lautstärke- und Anschalttasten reagieren sehr gut. Das Design ist modern, matt und man kann sie auch im Business benutzen.ABER nach ca. 1 Jahr löst sich der Gummirand auf und wird auch optisch unansehnlich. Sieht auch bei Kunden/im Restaurant auf dem Tisch nicht mehr gut aus.Und der Rand liegt auch nicht ganz so eng ums iPhone an, so daß Schutz in den Ecken oder am oberen Rand ins Hülleninnere gelangt.Auffällige Kratzer gibt es bei diesem Modell aber kaum.Dies ist unsere dritte Speck Presidio Hülle und alle wurden nie in die Hosentasche gesteckt. Trotzdem sind sie alle nicht sonderlich haltbar gewesen. Schade angesichts des Preises.
