Works great, looks great, better than lots of others...
I'll start with the one flaw: Like somebody else mentioned, a picture of the product shows that the main cable hooking it up to the computer is removable at both ends, But it's not; so if it ever breaks you have to throw the whole product out. That doesn't seem fair because the description does not match what you get... see photos. That said, had I known initially (if they showed it properly) I would still have bought it at the price and been happy. A lot of similar units have problems where the USB ports are in strange places, or the switches are very small touch switches, sometimes no indicator lights other than the switch itself, or maybe it does not have the ability to plug in external power... This unit has all that! Large indicator lights that clearly show when a particular port is on, fairly large rocker switches that are easy to use directly above each light and port, and all the ports are neatly lined up on 1 side; yes some units have more than 7 ports, but to my way of thinking 7 is more than enough for most PC setups! (It was only that my particular PC skimped on the USB ports on the very top of the case and put most of them hard to access on the back.) The main connection USB plug and cable they give you is possibly too short for some people, but it is long enough to plug in the back of a PC and stretch all the way to the front, or mount on an adjacent desk; that's good enough for me. Lastly, while they don't actually provide the power supply, they give you a standard jack on the corner where you can plug an external power supply if your PC cannot provide enough for all the things you plug in; I don't need it right now, but I purchased this unit in part because it had that availability for the future... For completeness I will add that some reviewers claimed it did not work with their PC at all; I did not personally have that problem. Normally I would have given it five stars; the last star was taken off either for their lack of honesty of the description and photos, or More generously , for their lack of properly updating the description...

The hub you didn't know you needed
Let me start this review by saying, if USB hubs had a superhero, ONFINIO's 7-Port USB Hub Splitter would be wearing a cape, a USB cable-shaped cape, of course. This hub is the unsung hero of the office, the sidekick you didn't know you needed until it swooped in to save the day, and by "day," I mean your desk space. Firstly, this USB hub is so sleek and stylish that just having it on your desk automatically makes you feel like you're the tech guru of the office. Colleagues will pass by, glance at your desk, and think, "Wow, that person must be running the Matrix from that desk." You'll feel a subtle, yet undeniable boost to your tech street cred. Now, let's talk about the seven ports. Yes, seven. It's like the USB hub version of a seven-layer dip, but instead of chips, you're plugging in your various devices. It's like a technological buffet for your gadgets, and they're all invited to the party. Cell phone, tablet, wireless charger, printer, USB-powered mini-fridge (just kidding, but hey, the possibilities are endless) โ there's a port for everyone! The hub is so efficient that it has become the unofficial office mediator. No more fighting over outlets or USB ports; this hub is the peacemaker, bringing unity to the chaotic world of charging cables. Your coworkers will stop bickering over who gets to charge their phone next, and instead, they'll be united in their admiration for the hub that made it all possible. Productivity has soared since the arrival of this USB marvel. No longer do you have to choose between charging your phone, transferring files, or powering up your USB-powered desk disco ball (again, joking... or am I?). The 7-Port USB Hub Splitter has become the multitasking maestro, allowing you to do it all simultaneously. The ONFINIO 7-Port USB Hub Splitter is the hub you didn't know you needed, but now can't live without. It's the MVP of your desk, the commander of cords, and the unsung hero of the office. Get ready to elevate your tech game and witness a revolution in workplace productivity, one USB connection at a time!

Necessary item in these modern times
I don't know when or how it happened but I'm suddenly at a point in my life were many of the things I use and carry on a daily basis have batteries and require charging via USB. Long gone are the days when I could get by on one or two single-port USB chargers. Which makes USB hubs like this one from ONFINO a necessary item to own. I've owned a few others, but this one is by far my favorite. I like the switches so I can turn the individual USB ports on and off whenever needed. A handy feature if you're powering lights that don't have a built-in power switch. A smart feature if you're energy-conscious and don't want the extra drain of powering unused ports. So far this USB hub has been great. Got one at home, and one at work now. I definitely recommend thus USB hub by, ONFINIO.

Good Hub With Poor Cable Socket
The hub is fine, with solid switches for toggling ports on and off. The socket to plug in the USB cable between the hub and the computer is horrible. Couldn't it have been made just a little deeper to more securely set the connecting wire? It's worth it to note that every once in a blue moon, this hub will flicker, causing devices on it to lose connection. No idea if the weird DC-in jack is also problematic. I haven't bothered buying a power adapter to test the DC input yet, since I did buy this hub to replace another device I was using which required auxiliary power.

Super Resourceful!
I love everything about this, the clicky switches, and how useful it is to extend your computers USB ports. Honestly, I hate to admit it, but this sort of thing kind of feels like an essential for every person to have. Unfortunately, though I do not know how fast the data transfers are or could be, but i assume good speeds because it does use the same wires for Terabytes but I dunno. good item! I'd recommend. Doesn't feel cheap, or fake either, which is very nice tbh

As described, works perfectly but pay attention to the power issue and size of power input jack
As described, works perfectly. Acts like a normal usb3 hub except you have the option to turn off ports. Normally, you wouldn't have the occasion to do this but there are a couple of situations. One would be where your computer doesn't recognize an input device unless you disconnect it and then reconnect it. Much better to turn the port on and off with this hub. Another would be, when you are not using an external power supply, where you need to remove devices temporarily to reduce power draw from the computer usb3 port (max 900 ma). Of course, I always like to use powered hubs. This hub supports, but does not supply, an external 5V power supply. The only issue is that due to lack of space, the hub power port requires a 3.5mm x 1.35 male input jack. This is not the most common (which is 5.5mm x 2.1mm). If you want to use a common 5V wall wart (2A-3A), need a little 5.5mm x 2.1mm female to 3.5mm x 1.35mm male converter plug (which are available here on Amazon and handy to have around)

Works great , saves reaching behind computer for USB ports, and adds security
My desktop computer has only one USB port in the front. All others are in the back and difficult to reach. This unit adds 7 easy to reach ports out to the front. I placed the Hub Splitter on top of my monitor stand. Each port can be turned on or off individually and you know its status because its light is either on or off! Special use: my video camera for online conversations is attached to the ONFINIO Hub. When I am done with a conversation, I just flip the switch and the camera is deactivated! Very secure! I also have a separate mini computer (Eudora running Linux) attached to this hub for power. I can power down the Eudora by simply switching off its individual connection to the hub. This device is unbeatable!

Functions perfectly, weak construction.
I bought this for my personal PC, and it does its job very well, allowing me to keep all my devices plugged in AND toggle secondary devices on or off (like webcam and microphone) with just the flip of a switch. The LED light makes it very easy to see what is and isnโt powered, but the frame is a little weak and one of the LED covers has slid out of place after I moved, so itโs a tad unsightly, but the cord is very tough, so Iโm keeping it at 4 stars.
