These worked better than I expected. I used the Wilton gum paste mix. Since the flake elements were so small and dainty, I expected there to be problems. I really didn't have that many. I used Pam cooking spray on the cutters themselves, and on the surface I worked on. I was pleasantly surprised that the flakes came out with all of the details pretty consistently.One of the cutters - the middle-sized one, kept getting jammed, but it was easy enough to un-jam it. If I hadn't had this problem, I would have easily given it five stars.

You cannot go wrong buying from Fox Run. I used these for a Frozen cake. They came out very cute. It wasn't difficult at all once I got the hang of it. The middle one kept refusing to eject the fondant, but upon inspection the plunger was broken. There was a crack on the inside of the plunger. I returned the set with no hassle and will likely buy another one before my next Frozen order.

I am making a Frozen themed cake for my daughter's birthday. I used these today and was very impressed. I used the Wilton premixed gum paste. The cutters were very easy to use and made beautiful snowflakes very quickly. Most of the time I had to gently nudge them out of the cutter onto parchment to dry. Occasionally one would pop out all on it's own. If they had all done that this review would be 5 stars!

These were fantastic! I had tried making royal icing snowflakes for a Frozen cake but they kept breaking when I took them off of the parchment paper. I ordered these when I was in a pinch and they were perfect! All three cutters made wonderful snowflakes (they each make two different type of snowflakes - you can choose to use the embellishment or not) and they were so easy to use! I put the plungers in confectioners sugar and then used a mixture of gum paste and fondant to make the snowflakes.

It works great and have nice shapes. I know it is supposed to be for fondant and gum paste, but we only used it with pie dough to put decorations over pies and quiches. It works great. I would recommend it!Only bad thing is that the white plastic gets stained black when dried by air for some reason.

My granddaughter wanted a Frozen themed birthday party. I have made royal icing snowflakes before, time consuming but not that hard. The snowflake fondant plunger set made it so much easier and with the embossing of the snowflakes there was the added benefit of detailing. Also the fondant snowflakes are sturdier then royal icing. Hint: after making the snowflakes be sure tosprinkle with edible glitter The snowflake cupcakes were a hit with the party goers

These worked for the most part. The plastic is not well fitted in places so fondant/sugar paste gets caught in the area between the sides of the cutter and the plunger. The cuts they make are not quite as clean cut as I would have liked, but they got the job done.

I was highly doubtful that these would work with fondant - I thought for sure the fondant would stick in the tiny ends and ruin the snowflakes - but IT DIDN'T STICK! I made lots of beautiful snowflakes for my daughter's Frozen cake and cupcakes.

Works good.... The little "stems" just break off easily at the joint

This was exactly what I needed and were easy to use (with a bit of icing sugar so it didn't stick). Shipped super quick and received within 2 days!

I used these for my xmas cake! They worked great - and made for some really cool snow flakes :-)

Does not cut really well but when it does cut, the shape is very detailed.
