Sturdy, strong but not too heavy.* Made from 5.5" x 36" x 1.5" pine stained in our rich dark walnut and finished with a thin coat of poly to protect your investment. Review: Be careful when purchasing this product - Good price but poor quality of finish and poor product design. The holes for the installation pins are too big making a sloppy fit and resulting in the shelf not staying securely against the wall. The spacing of the holes and design of the brackets does not facilitate screwing into 2 wall studs at the standard 16” spacing.
