Great game and fresh take on the old version. Read the instructions through before playing though. There are a couple of different game modes. The instructions show how to access every game mode and what the different beebs and what not mean. Otherwise, it was fairly easy to setup and understand. I would estimate 10 minutes or less from box opening to playing! You do not need to invest in any other device or any hub or game of any kind to make these work, I figured I would mention since I saw a couple reviews of people dissing this product because they only received the headsets and not the game itself. This game is the headsets, just as an FYI to other people who may be thrown off by some reviews like I initially was. The headband is also adjustable and could have fit a way bigger than my head! The device also turns off on its own after not being played for a couple minutes, which is great! You never have to worry about the batteries dying. I have been able to use mine every week or two for the last couple months without replacing the batteries.

Good break from the phone/laptop. Old school Simon with a new school twist. Love that 2 can play. Battery operated. Can play on the go (in the car). Stimulates your brain by having to use your memory. Fun!

we purchased 2 sets for Christmas. One set for son and daughter and the other for niece and nephew, all from ages 9 to 12. Each headset takes 4 batteries, but battery life isn’t too bad. Offers fun for kids 7+ and adults! One downside, hair can get caught on headsets.

One grandson got a single one of these gadgets for Xmas. He and his brothers (and other family members) couldn't put it down! So, on the soon-to-occur birthday of another brother, I got this 2-pack set! They share and now its all fun and games, laughter, and healthy competition between them! They can link the heafseheadsets and compete or play separately. HINT: Keep plenty of batteries around!

I bought this as a gift for a child and they enjoy playing it. It’s a pretty cool and futuristic way of playing the Simon game. My only complaint is that there is no way to adjust the width of the fit and it is made of hard plastic with no padding so if you have a larger head, you won’t be able to play it without enduring a lot of pain. I had fun playing it but had to stop after a short time because it hurt far too much. If the manufacturer could fix this problem, I’d give it a 5 star rating for sure. It’s fun and a great value for the price.

Firt of all it was a gift for my 10 years son, one head set for him and the other one for his best friend play together but when i test it the first time, it was adictive, and i think to keep one head set, jajaja Lol, just kidding, but really adictive

This was a gift for my nephews and niece. They love games that they can play together. Simon Optix was perfect for them.

My girls enjoyed playing this game. It is quite loud. You can turn it down, but each time it powers off, it resets at the loudest setting the next time it's activated. It's easy to follow but can give a person a pretty nasty headache from the band squeezing the head and the bright flashing lights that are only about 2 inches from the face. It was easy to put on challenge mode, but we never got to test it since one of the headsets had a defective sensor on the green light and couldn't be played. It was returned and we didn't reorder a replacement. While the kids had much fun playing, we adults did not have much fun hearing it.
