Q: Would this work on lick wounds

My k9 had surgery to remove a lesion tat was probably a lick wound. His 'brothers' annihilated the cone in one day. I bandaged the area first with a non-stick gauze, wrapped it with vet wrap and then applied the hock brace which kept him from tearing off the bandage. Would recommend it for lick wounds but over a dressing so the brace doesn't rub. It was extremely helpful in my case.

You can order them through amazon.com and they come in many sizes, including small. Good luck, I hope your dog is doing well, and that the use of the brace will work for him/her, make sure you order the correct kind, like for front legs or back legs.

Q: My dogs back legs gave out do to arthritis his paw drags on ground also.what do you recommend.

Our dog has a torn acl so this brace helps her tremendously. It gives good support and she lets us put it on her no problem. She is a 75 lb Weim. We give her glucosamine sulfate for the joints and carpprofen which you can buy online to help when she has painful days which really seem to help. All this really seems to help her.
