Exactly what I needed!
Just to be perfectly clear, these are EXACTLY what they are listed to be. There seems to be some misunderstanding in other reviews between metal, magnet, and magnetic. These are metal and magnetic, but are not magnets. The product description may be in broken English, but it does state this clearly enough several times. If your makeup case does not have a magnet tray, these will not make your case magnetic. These are metal discs intended to adhere to the bottom of makeup pots that do not, on their own, stick to magnet makeup trays. For example, NYX refill shadows are magnetic, but if you de-pot one of the singles in the little plastic cases, those are not magnetic. These disks are made of ferromagnetic metal which will stick to a magnet. You would stick one of these disks to the bottom of a non-magnetic makeup pot, and it will then stick to a magnet makeup tray. I am very happy with these! I got an Adept Cosmetics case The Adept Palette in Singularity Black - Double Sided Magnetic Empty Palette with Divider, Holds over 100 Single Round Standard Sized Eyeshadow Pans, Hardshell Case and these work perfect for my de-potted makeups that weren't magnetic. These are thin enough they don't make the shadows too tall to fit but hold very strong and do not shift or move in the case. Two of these on the bottom of a large bronzer disk hold those down great too! They have a nice smooth finish, so they don't scuff up my tray, and the adhesive holds really well. You do have to be sure to press them on well before putting the makeup pot in the tray, or the disk and makeup pot may not stay adheared together. I place the eyeshadow/blush/bronzer/etc, with the disk on the bottom, onto a counter or table and use a butter knife to press down on it (less chance of the pressed makeup coming loose out of the pot if it stays right side up). This works great to get the sticker secure and not break the makeup inside the pot. I included pictures: One of the difference between a NYX eyeshadow that is in a magnetic pot and one that I had to use a disk on, the eyeshadows both sticking to a vertical magnet tray, one of a bronzer with two disks on the bottom, and then that bronzer on a vertical magnet tray.

Holds makeup pots securely in palette
Not much to say except these work for what I purchased them for. . . . to hold de-potted makeup in an empty palette. Often when de-potting makeup, the sticky glue/adhesive remains on the bottom and does not allow a firm hold in magnetic makeup palettes. This solves that problem perfectly. Peel and stick the adhesive side to the bottom of the makeup pot, then lay in your magnetic palette. I've also found that some makeup does not de-pot very easily. Sometimes when prying it out of the case it came in, if the metal is thin, it will bend instead of come out cleanly. This means the pot may no longer be flat enough to attract to the magnetic palette well enough, but once a pot is bent, that usually also means the makeup in it, will probably crack and be ruined as well. Instead of taking the chance of ruining a pot, I've just broken off the cover and stuck one of these magnets to the bottom of the plastic case. If your palette is deep enough, you can stick it in without having to actually go through the complete de-potting procedure. Just make sure your palette is deep enough to accommodate, as not all are.

Magnet isn't as strong even tripling them up.
I put three of these on the back of a thin but larger in size circle blash pan for my magnetic palette. I cleaned with alcohol and made sure nothing was left on the pan but it falls out often. The magnetic stuck well to the pan itself but doesn't seem to hold onto the palette. Ive even tried on my fridge to see and it doesn't hold. the blush isn't heavy just a larger thin pan. It seems to work with small eye shawdows though.

Worked perfectly
I used these to convert non-magnetic pans for use in a magnetic palette. They're perfect!

Less bulk = less damage.
Previously, I had used some bulky magnets to keep some depotted eyeshadows firmly in place in my magnetic palette. I didn’t like this due to how thick they were, how hard they were to place, and how it made the shadows sit against the lid of the palette. Since I wanted to depot more eyeshadows I decided to look for a better alternative. These slim, magnetic metal circles are amazing. They cut away the bulk so my shadows stay safe away from the lid. After reading some reviews, I decided to help these stick better by applying some super glue. In the past, the 3m adhesive has been hard to place and gets really dirty very fast. These discs fit perfectly along the bottom of a standard size eyeshadow pan. Overall I think this is a great product.

Go for it! 5 Stars!
I am very happy with my purchase. I have used half of the metal stickers so far and none of them were defective. I used them to make my own makeup/eyeshadow palette and they adhere well to the magnetic surface of my palette.

Scam
Does not magnetise/work. Depotted my eyeshadow palettes for the individual pans and none of them stick to the palette I bought
