If this spray works half as well as the ointment then it will be worth the money. I haven't tried it yet but have used the ointment several time with success. I bought this as a "just in case" type thing when I can't get the animal to let me apply the paste.

Maybe ok for small pets. This was advertised for horses. The spray bottle barely squirts and zero effect for a horse. Worthless for large animal.

Worked great for ringworm on kittens. Stopped the itching right away for them and cleared it up. Started looking for something on my own when one cat and one kitten had reactions to the Miconazole ointment and shampoo provided by the vet. I've switched to doing lime sulphur dips every 5 days and supplementing with this for spot treatment. THIS STUFF NEEDS TO BE AVAILABLE IN LARGER QUANTITIES!!!! I DID NOT receive anything for this review. It was recommended at a local animal supply store in Massillion ohio called PBS.

Very nice but a little pricey

I originally bought this for my older dog who was scratching and making his skin raw. After a couple of applications, his skin looked normal and he was barely scratching. After our younger dog had surgery, his skin was very red from razor burns. I was worried about him licking the incision area, so I sprayed the entire shaved area. Not only did it keep him from bothering the area, within a few hours the area went from red to pink and the next morning it looked completely normal! He never bothered the area and it healed beautifully with only a day or 2 of spraying twice a day. I highly recommend this spray!
