Heavy gauge stainless and well put together. One minor criticism viz, the legs are very short. Use these in a baking tray for roasting meats. Get what you pay for.

Very strong steel. Not flimsy and only one cross bar to trap food instead of the usual two. They do wobble very slightly so all four feet aren't quite level, but it really doesn't matter.

Perfect for cooling and excellent trivets

I bought these not for cooling racks, but for my dishwasher. The grid spacing ("holes") in the bottom rack is so large that my salad and dessert plates hang down through the spaces just enough for the spray arm to hit them. What a stupid problem to have to solve, eh. I bought the pair of 7.8" x 10.2" size in these racks, and they each fit perfectly over their own tine rows. Now my dishes fill the rows without blocking the spray arm. As far as the racks themselves, they are really well constructed and heavy duty, and very strong. I've only had them a short time so they've only been through the dishwasher about five times now. They do appear to be high quality mirror finish stainless steel, and so far show no signs of rusting, but it is too soon to tell. If they start to chip or rust I will come back and update my review. If however after a few months they are still like new, I'm definitely coming back to buy a larger size specifically for a baking pan that is currently paired with one of those flimsy types. I will be really happy to buy one of these for it instead.

Thrilled with these! Very strong stainless construction. Perfect for putting in a roasting pan under a chicken etc. Also good for over a burner on an electric stovetop to reduce the direct heat to protect custards and fruits from scorching. They’re not cookie sheets, check the size. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
