Thank you!!! These are perfect. I work third shift and second shift. These are a life-saver. Super easy to put up – the instructions are simple and clear. I did not have to cut them either, they were perfectly sized to my windows already. My most important issue: do they block out the sun? Yes! They completely block out the sun. I can have perfect darkness whenever I want, no matter the time of day. They're not too thin, but not thick that it feels like a blanket. The UPF/sun protection is what was very important to me as well, since my bed is beside a window. I don't want to be near the sun when I wake, to prevent external photoaging. This blocks the rays effortlessly and you can tell by holding it to the light directly–nothing gets through. Just complete darkness, perfect for sleep. I'm surprised by how inexpensive these were as well.

I am surprised with the quality and how amazing this works! It completely blacks out our window and we use it because we have a newborn. The suction cups are ok, but all work for the most part and I highly recommend!

The design of this product would work a lot better if the suction cups were positioned a half an inch or so in from the edge of the fabric. As is, the edge of the suction cups matches up with the edge of the fabric, and therefore the fabric runs right along the edge of the window glass (as the circumference of the suction cups must be in contact with the glass). Without any hangover fabric, this "portable blackout curtain" allows for light leakage along the perimeter of windows. It still darkens the room substantially, but the lack of a complete "seal" around the window, means you inherently do not get a full blackout effect. If your window is smaller than the panel of fabric, you can positioning the suction cups close together, and drape the "slack" between each cup over the edge of the window glass. It still isn't perfect, but it corrects the problem somewhat. The suction cups themselves can have trouble sticking. I found wetting them helps them adhere to the window a lot more easily. I would describe the fabric as about 95% opaque. It is a silky textured polyester. If you look up close there are super tiny pin holes where light leaks through, apparently just from the weave of the fabric. Despite flaws, this is a convenient product, and not just for babies' rooms. If you are a renter and don't want to drill holes, or invest in a fancy drapery for your temporary living situation, or a night worker in need a utilitarian blackout solution, I would recommend this product.

But these now! We really don't travel anywhere without throwing one or two of these in our bags to ensure the room is dark enough for baby/kid naps!! They are perfect to have on hand when traveling or to block out all light in a bedroom. The suctions work well.

I really wanted to like this product, the idea of being able to just have a blackout curtain that I could take with me anywhere. Seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, the suction cups this product comes with are amongst the lowest quality I've ever seen. It comes with a few replacement suction cups, all of which you will require because several of the cups that are on the original curtain are already bent so badly in packaging that they have a permanent crease and are essentially non-functional. Even after replacing all of the creased/bent suction cups with the replacement cups in the packaging, they are still such poor quality that the curtain comes falling down within just a few seconds or minutes. Could not justify the price of this product for the poor quality.

I'm very happy with this purchase. My young son was waking too early in the morning due to sunlight coming through his blinds and bright light filling his room. This blackout curtain is nice and thick, but not too heavy. It was quick and easy to install. The suction cups stuck to the window very well, and I like that it came with additional suction cups. I only needed one curtain because the size was perfect for the bedroom window. I will be ordering additional curtains for other rooms of the house. These will be great for keeping the heat out during hot Las Vegas summers.

We absolutely love this black out curtain--it's perfect for travelling with a baby/kids, or even just yourself if you need a window covering. The suction cups are great, there are multiple along each edge to custom fit to any size window, and the panel is completely blackout. Super easy to attach and remove, and wash and dry in your machine easily.

I wish I got these a long time ago. They’ve extended my daughter’s sleep by 2-3 hours. We’ve been staying home a lot this year and bedtime has been getting later and later, but wake up time seemed to stay early no matter how late she sleeps. I already had black out curtains, but the light still shines through the top. I ended up getting the stick on tint, but those kept falling off or my daughter would peel them off. So, here we are trying yet another alternative and I’m so glad we gave it a try. I’m not going to lie and say these are high quality, they are not. What they do is the job keep light out. The curtain itself is stiff and like a plastic like material. The suctions warp, but I find they suck fine. When the suctions fall off, I rub a little water on it and it sticks on the window again with no problem. Some light still come through the edges of the curtain, but I suggest hanging blackout curtains in front of them. This method keeps the room pitch black for us. I know these are portable, but I keep them on at all times.

Updated review: Clean your windows first, make sure you wet the suctions first (also heard oil can help them stick better but did not try) stuck the panel on my window and its been up for over a week no problem. We move the curtains everyday and havent had any issues with them falling off. The black out is wonderful for after I work night shifts and need some sleep! Great for apartments if you don't want to cause damage (plus you can bring them with you if you move easily)

I’m very sensitive to the light and this has really helped and it’s nice because it’s not black! Love this product!

We got this for a little window in the closet so we wouldn't have to close the closet door each night. We tried to suction it to the wall instead of the window and the suctions don't work on the wall. They do work like GOLD on the window. We will use those 3M hooks to hang it instead. Its SO GOOD at darkening. Most curtains aren't that good and let some light in. This is great. And it has suctions on 3 of 4 sides to prevent any light sneaking in. I didn't realize that until we received it. (I didn't read the description, probably in there.) Anyways, if you need a super dark cloth with suctions / holes around the edges for hooks, this is GREAT and I'd buy it again if I had another window to cover.
