Purchased as a Christmas gift for our son. The drone operated well for about a week. It performed rather nicely for a ~$23 toy, nothing special but certainly exciting enough to satisfy a young child. However, the drone stopped taking a full charge after the first week of use. By the second week of use a circuit likely shorted causing one of the propellers to spin continuously even after the drone was shut off, thus rendering the drone useless. The folks at USA Toyz were extremely helpful regarding the product failure and quickly sent a replacement. This is a perfect 'first drone' for a young child and you can rest assured that the manufacturer stands behind their product.

This was a tremendous disappointment. We had bought the flying orb and had great fun. This was a dud! Didn't really fly well and didn't last long either. What a waste of $$ when I could have bought another orb! That was my first review. Then customer service contacted me and they were terrific. Not only did they replace my drone but contacted me and even sent an card from their home office to see if everything was working well. Incredible customer service. OMG. Took the new drone to the beach to see if it would work for my 5 year old grandson. IT WAS AWESOME! The new drone worked so well. It hovered well and because you can direct it without touching it, we played The Force/Mandalorian pretending we were using he force to direct the drone back and forth to each other. Then his great grandmother came to visit and she tried it as well. I know she had already told family members about it. Because of the excellent customer service, I will continue to watch this company for new products because I can trust if there is a problem with a product, they will do everything they can to make things right!

I love it, but its loud noise scares the life out of our cat. I bought it for the cat. It tends to crash into the ceiling and drop down violently to the bed or floor, which causes it to stop flying. I wish it were more stable.

Many years ago I got a toy very similar to this as a present.. many years passed and now it's my 1yo and 3yo favorite thing to play with(supervised of course) it makes a mean game of keepy uppy. So naturally we were all heart broken when the original broke... Off to Amazon I went with a little hope.. it had been at least 5 years. Imagine my surprise and relief when I found this product. Unfortunately all dreams and hopes or bringing that favorite toy back died immediately during the first flight .. See I sprung for the 'pro'! after all the kids love it.. so imagine my surprise to finding out the so called 'pro' only uses 2 perimeter sensors.... My OG one had 4 perimeter and top/bottom. Maybe I got a defect? Should there be 4? With only two it really can't do much, it bumps Into everything... We are so very disappointed right now

Great fun but it does stay higher up than where my 8 year son can reach. Very fun but the charge time is only about 5 mins, but fun!

One of the propellers seized and wouldn't turn after only, maybe, an hour or use. Edit: So after the above review, I was contacted by USA Toyz. They offered a refund. I accepted the refund and then they sent a new drone as well as another one of their products. I thanked them. Then, they sent a hand written thank you card. Their customer service is certainly above and beyond most companies. Back to the product. It works very well and has lasted longer than the one that failed and my 10 year old boy loves it.

Review update: Excellent customer service. Immediately sent replacement drone. Replacement working perfectly. Grandkids love it. Thanks again for your quick response. Bought for grandson for Christmas. Lasted 3 minutes. Only one propeller worked. Fan only worked periodically. Once fully charged was unable to shut off. Had to wait for battery to fully drain to shut off. Too bad. Very disappointed. Granson loved it for 3 minutes it worked.
