Intergroups 4x6 zip pie bags have finally arrived. As I stated in my original review, Amazon's site wasn't letting me leave the page I was on (feedback) until I had posted reviews for every item I had purchased that they had listed on that particular web page. The problem was I hadn't received Intergroups baggies yet, and it was too early to reasonably expect them to have arrived. Glitch? Anyway, the baggies have arrived. They are EXACTLY 4x6 baggies, which is exactly what they had listed. If you intend to put 4x6 cards in them you'll need bigger bags, so go a size up. I can still use them for other things, so I'll keep them. They seem to be decent quality; easy to open and close, handled me fishing around in them to see if the sides would hold - they did. I even pulled on the seams stretching the plastic, and they still held. I would buy more baggies from Intergroup in the future, but just a size up. Decent quality, great price, and free shipping. If I can ever figure out how to get back to the original review I would definitely give them 5 stars... you know, now that I actually have them. (EEEhheeemm.)

I initially bought these due to the reccomendation of a reviewer of "The Pee Pocket-48 pack Female urinary funnel" who said that putting the funnel and some TP in the bag was ideal for convinience. I bought the pee pocket as a half joke/half serious birthday gift for my best friend and gave them to her after inserting the funnel, TP and a little note card with different facts about urine into the bag. Everything fit comfortably and I even had leftover bags to use for whatever else I wanted. Oh, the freedom! The next weekend I was heading to a bachelorette weekend at a lake and brought ingredients to make pico de gallo. I was concerned there would not be fresh ground pepper or sea salt there, so I put each in it's own baggie. These were left on the counter at the lake place and upon finding the one with salt in it, one of the girls picked it up and held it high announcing, "WHO BROUGHT THE DRUGS? WHAT IS THIS, CRYSTAL METH? I personally think they're a little too big to be drug bags but I guess I'm not too experienced in that field. They have come in handy for many other things and I love having a reclosable bag smaller than quart size.

I'm really not sure how I should review these... I hate that people review things like "They certainly are bags" but that's what comes to mind. So instead of being just another bad reviewer, I'll tell you a story. This one time I ate a lot of BBQ ribs and they were delicious. I even ate the baked potato that came with it. I wasn't sure if I could eat that much but I really impressed myself. Around 10:30pm the waiter came over and regretfully told us that we had to leave. We were kind of insulted, but after he explained that we had gone through all the ribs they thawed out for the day (us and the other customers before us) we kinda understood. They gave us a free desert as a sorry, which was pretty cool of them. After we left we went to a McDonald's Drive Thru and ordered some $1 burgers and chicken nuggets. As we were eating the food in the parking lot of the McDonalds we thought it would be a good idea to to try walk through the Drive Thru and order more without our car. I was in high school, I was pretty stupid, I guess. We giggled as we walked around the building, thinking we were very funny and clever. We sat at the menu order trying to get them to come on the speaker, but we didn't weigh enough to activate the call signal inside. We jumped up and down on the target area (both having worked at fast food places ourselves we had an idea on how it worked). A car final turned around the corner and we convinced them to put their front wheels on the sensor to signal the inside. We ordered our food and pretended we were in a car and "drove" up to the drive thru window. The people inside argued with us that we couldn't do this. We tried to convince them that our car was just super clean and clear-ish like Wonder Woman's invisible jet. It was the "new model." They laughed and gave us our order and some free apple pies. We gave the pies to the people in the car behind us for helping us. They were cool. The bags are excellent. I use them to package cards for a card game my friends and I made and we're going to be selling the packages cards at a comic book convention in Chicago (C2E2).

These make seed saving easy! They are just the right size for seed packets and keep them dry and viable. I enclose a 3x5 card for notes (like dates planted and companion plants). Most seeds can be used for 2 or more years if kept cool and dry.

The actual dimensions of these bags are 4" wide from seam center to seam center and 5-7/8 long from bag bottom to the bottom of the zipper seal. Note that these are not heavy duty but will probably suffice for most uses if the contents don't contain rough corners or you don't expect rough handling. I use the bag as a second layer of protection inside of the regular camera case I have. Size-wise, I gave a few of these to my daughter to slip over her latest iPhone when she deems it necessary. She said she could even use the screen while it was in the zip-lok bag.

Am using these to put all my vitamins in. I take a ton of vitamins & hated all those different sized bottles to drag out weekly to fill my pill box. These handy bags hold a very large bottle of calcium tablets as well as all my other large capsules. I just use a marking pen to label each bag & now place the bags in one gallon size freezer bag instead of shoe boxes of bulky pill bottles that sometimes were too tall to close the top of the shoe box. Also nice to see which vitamins I am running low on. I have also put all my spices in these bags, same as the vitamins. Works great too. When opening one of these bags, open toward the side of the bag instead of right in the middle. This prevents a torn bag since the seal on these little bags is pretty tight.

I am a bit OCD (hubby would say A LOT) I love to put stuff in zipper bags and label them. Sometimes a snack size bag is just not the right size. These will work great. Good price and nice and sturdy. This will help with my new kitchen remodel. A place for everything and everything in its place. Yeah, maybe hubby is right the OCD is taking over.

I thought I had purchased 2" x 4" reclosable bags, but I rechecked my order and had in fact purchased 4" x 6". The bags themselves are good quality, reclosable and clear. I am using them for packaging military insignia mounted on a small piece of cardboard. While I thought 2" x 4" would be better, this size actually works better for my purposes. The bags are good quality and very clear, unlikes others I have seen that are yellowish or pinkish in color. Highly recomended and excellent value for the cost.
