I like most of the build quality. If you never row hard this would be a nice rower. I would not recommend for any high intensity training. The pulley mechanism slips and has a significant dead zone when starting and returning the handle bar after my first session. It's has not gotten much worse since then but it is very emersion breaking because the rowing is not smooth at all now.

Thought it was a good idea, it started to make noise after a months use. Replaced it with a magnetic wheel kind which I like a lot better, sit higher so easier to get up, feet are farther apart much better for a larger person. I needed one to be quiet in my apartment type setting, which I thought water rowers were the quietest but their not. Plus, don’t have to mess with getting and replacing distilled water.

Excellent product, but bolts were not exactly right and were too large for attaching long boards. Other than that it is terrific. The water resistance is a great add and makes it very unique.

I really like the size. It is really smooth. The seat is just ok. It started out really nice with the sounds of the water. I have had this three weeks and the noise is getting progressively worse. Amazon offered a return but I really want to figure out a way to fix it first.

I was extremely pleased with assembly and the first few minutes using the machine. I'm 260 lbs and the frame cracked almost immediately. It's still functional but makes a noise and does not slide smoothly now. Not sure Worth sending it back considering the procedures. If you're bigger be careful because the 300 lbs rating is not accurate.
