This razor worked great while it lasted. It provided a good, close, and even shave. The $29 price tag can not be beat. The problem began right about the time Amazon's 30 day return policy expired. First, the LED lights stopped working altogether. It became impossible to tell if the unit was finished charging or needed charging. They just went out. Shortly after that, the razor began turning itself on randomly, sometimes while it was charging, but also sometimes not. It would also sometimes not turn on when the power button was pressed. I was impressed enough with the shave I got from this razor that I was willing to give the company a chance to make this right. However, there is no warranty or contact information in or on the box, so I can't contact them. This all happened just days after Amazon's 30 day return policy expired. I would love to give this another chance, but without any contact info, I can't.Update: Amazon was not able to replace the razor for my, but they were able to provide me with contact info for the seller. They replaced the razor no charge, and the new one works great. None of the same problems as the original.

After using it for a little over a month, only the center blade works. The gears that turn the four surrounding blades are no longer catching. I have since purchased the Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold PRO and it is SO much better. The Pitbull is a lot quieter and provides a closer, smoother shave. I suggest you spend the extra money to get something that will last and perform better.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Regardless, this shaver is good. It does the job and is very easy to clean. This is the first shaver like this I have used, so I don't have much to compare it to. I usually have to shave my head twice to get the close shave I am wanting. Takes about 5-10 minutes. I use it in the shower with shaving cream. I think the blades get clogged with the shaving cream so I have to stop and clean it out semi-frequently. I think this is a good shaver to start out with to see if this is something you like.

This $30 Gem is the total grooming device for a bald dude, floating rotary heads hug every contour and provide a close shave, triiming head with spacers and nose hair trimmer work great too, provides a closer shave and more functionaiity than shavers that cost 5-6 times as much, I know, I tried them all, this is a replacement shaver after the blades finally dulled on my first one after 2 yeasrs so if I gotta spend $30 every 2 years to replace it that's a bargain, my only issue is it's a bit of a PITA to clean the center head so just take it out and throw it away as the outer 4 do all the cutting, the key to success with this shaver is to clean it out after every use, just takes seconds with the brush provided, flip up the heads, brush out the dust and blow out the rest and your good to go and it wil last and last, and kep it fully charged as when it starts loosing steam it will pull some whiskers which is when yu know it's time to charge

I bought this head shaver after buying TWO of the far more expensive Skull Shave Pitbull Pro. The first Skull Shaver I bought lasted about a year and stopped working. I bought a replacement and that one lasted about 3 months. Skull Shaver wouldn't honor their warranty so I decided not to give them a third chance.Enter this head shaver. At only $29 I was dubious about how well it would work but I decided to give it a shot. I've only had it for a couple of weeks now so it's too soon to comment on longevity, but I'm happy to say that it worked well right out of the box and that it shaves as well or perhaps even better than the more expensive Skull Shaver. It's not razor blade smooth, but no electric shaver is. It gives me a pretty close shave though and so far I'm very happy with it. At this point I would definitely recommend this over the Skull Shaver.

Ad I finally decided to go bald, this tool allows me to confidently take care of my new style and do my own cuts by myself, every 2-3 days. While at first skeptical since there are other shavers with 6 blade sets and this one has only 5, this little guy is very well built and the quality of the blades ensure a smooth cut - also because are slightly larger than the ones with the extra blade set, which makes it easier for cleaning purposes. For best results, I recommend putting your head under warm water first, then use either normal hair conditioner or, better yet, Lectric Shave, to ensure a smooth cut. Make sure not to go too heavy on certain areas of your skull to avoid burns, and keep a smooth and round pattern on your head. Finish the job with some good quality post shave healing balm for your cool skull. The shaver comes with very nice attachments, especially the trimmers for your beard.
