Nice System, Very stable. Great images.
The Rohent R4 Wired Backup Camera System is very easy to set up right out of the box. Since the entire unit is "hardwired" from the monitor to the camera, there's no need to worry about missed Bluetooth connections, wireless distance limitations, etc. Just mount your camera and run the cable to your monitor. The monitor has a also has power connection plug/cable that you will simply plug into your 12VDC accessory outlet. Right out of the box, everything worked well with the default settings. The only significant function I needed to adjust was the image rotation since mine was upside down by default. While I'm on the subject of adjustments, let me explain the adjustments menu is easily accessible and has 4 adjustment categories: (see photos) (1) "Pic"--This is basic adjustment of Brightness, Contrast, Saturation Level, and Color Tint. (2) "Car"-- This gives you ability to turn off channel 2 so it doesn't appear in the menu. (Of course, if you also have a 2nd camera installed on CH2 then leave CH2 "On") (3) "Mode"--This gives the ability to independently Rotate and/or Flip (Mirror) the view of either of both of your cameras. There is a "Zoom" function to change from 16:9 ratio to 4:3 ratio. (The supplied monitor is 16:9 ratio so I don't know why you would ever wish to change this.) (4) "Settings" --This gives the ability to change the language, see the firmware version, and do a factory reset. Note: You will not find the alignment gridline control in that menu. Knowing that typical users want to quickly & easily turn that on & off without navigating menus. Rohent smartly put that function on the SELECT button --just toggle it on/off with that button---no need to find it in a menu! The system boots up very quickly. The image quality is great, especially since it's 1080P on the nice 7" screen (which also has an optional hood to prevent glare on the screen.) The angle of view seems really good--wide without causing too much distortion. The night vision works well also as expected. If you prefer to ONLY have the camera on when backing up, you can connect the blue trigger wire to you reverse light. The only function I would like to see added is backlight control to allow compensation for those times when the sky is a lot brighter than the road down below.

As good as I expected!
Several years ago I purchased a backup camera made by Rohent for my wife's car. There has never been a problem with it. Now I need a camera for a trailer, that pull with my SUV. So, I decided to get another camera by Rohent and I'm glad I did! Why a wired and not a wireless camera? A wired connection is always more reliable especially if you have a large vehicle as an RV, a large truck or a trailer. There's 20 meters (65 feet) of wire included in this kit! You can easily position the camera at the very back of a trailer or an RV. I do not use my trailer in the winter, so I installed the screen in the SUV, where it will stay permanently and installed the camera temporally on the roof of the SUV. I'll move it to the back of the trailer later. The installation was simple and it took less than an hour to do it. Just follow instructions in the manual. There're several installation videos on YouTube as well. The quality of the image is very good. Better than in my photos. There're adjustments that you can do and it's very convenient to have all the control buttons on the front of the screen. Also I like that the camera is very responsive. There's almost no delay when it turns on. So, all in all, what's not to like? It's a good camera and the price is right!

A Clear, Easy-to-Install, and Reliable Solution for RV Backup Camera
One of the standout features of this backup camera system is its high-definition 1080P resolution, which delivers crisp and detailed images. The wide-angle lens provides excellent coverage, minimizing blind spots and enhancing visibility, especially in larger vehicles. Additionally, the night vision capability ensures reliable performance in low-light conditions, allowing for safe maneuvering even in dark environments. Another point I like isthe easy Installation and expandability. The setup process is straightforward, even for me without prior experience. The majority of my installation time was spent positioning the backup camera in a way that preserves the overall aesthetic of the RV, the cable connection is vert intuitive. The system also offers the flexibility to extend to two cameras, making it convenient for those who need additional viewing angles for improved safety. I also want to mention the backup camera is waterproof and durable construction. The camera fully functions in the heavy rain. This level of durability makes it a dependable choice for long-haul trips and outdoor adventures. The last but not least is the large screen for better viewing. With its sharp image quality, it makes the system a reliable and efficient solution for enhancing rear visibility in big and oversized vehicles. Recommend this system because it delivers all the fronts you need.

Make that older vehicle more modern!!
Decent back up camera! Pairs well either way aftermarket head unit in an 05 Tahoe! The only thing that would make it better would be a clearer picture. Install was really easy, plenty of wire included.

Excellent Picture / Great Backup Camera
I have installed / upgraded 14 car stereo systems in my life. My most recent one was for my niece (who is like my little sister) on her birthday. I replaced the factory stereo in her 2009 Chevy Impala, with a newer and more powerful touchscreen stereo. I included pictures of the "old push button" and "newer touchscreen" stereos that I changed, along with this review. I have done a lot of stereo installs in my life, but this is the first time I have ever installed a backup camera in a car. So, I had no idea what was involved in the process. All I knew is that my entire family cares about my "newly driving" niece, and we all want her to be as safe as possible, which included adding a backup camera to her first car. Now, there are a whole bunch of different cameras to choose from. But, to make anlong story short... I chose this camera because of a few specifications listed, that I did not see with any other camera. And, I chose THE CORRECT ONE! This is a GREAT camera. The install was extremely simple. The length of the camera cable is super long, so it should fit any car easily. The picture (of the area behind the car) is super crisp and clear. The camera guidelines are accurate and can be adjusted within seconds (or removed altogether). My niece chose to keep the guidelines. Look no further. If you want a high quality backup camera that is easy to install and operate... i recommend this one. The pictures that the seller has listed for the product are true to life. The picture is actually that good - both in the daytime and at night. And, the LED lights make the already great picture resolution, even better. I was extremely surprised and happy about the quality of this backup camera, and I am sure that you will be too. Chad

Review of Rohent Backup Camera with 7-inch Monitor Kit
I replaced an old, after-market camera and monitor previously installed in a 2011 Ford Ranger truck, with the Rohent Camera and 7” Monitor Kit. After an approximate installation time of 2 hours, the camera and monitor work flawlessly. While I purchased this camera and monitor for a small pickup, the kit provided is designed to accommodate much larger vehicles, such as RVs. In the box: • One 7 Inch monitor with Sunshade. • One reversing camera. • One camera to monitor video cable, 66 feet in length. • One power cable with monitor connector, approximately 8 feet in length. • One monitor extension cable with two connectors so that a second camera can be connected if desired. • One cigarette lighter adapter cable with monitor connector. • Miscellaneous accessories including wire clamps, monitor adjustment knobs, etc. • QR Code linked to installation video. Comments: 1. Installation time required around 2 hours. The installation is not difficult, but running and securing cables is time consuming. 2. Video from camera and monitor is excellent. The camera and monitor display vivid colors and very clear details and background. 3. Since this kit is designed for virtually all sized vehicles, 66 feet of video cable was included. I needed less than 20 feet, so approximately 45 feet of cable is coiled under the driver’s seat. 4. Since I chose to tap in to the rear backup light for monitor power, rather than using the lighter adapter, the supplied power cable was too short. I extended the power cable with a cable splice. When I shift the vehicle into reverse, the backup camera display is activated. Ratings (1 to 5): Monitor and camera 5 Video quality and detail 5 Length of video cable 5 Length of power cable 3 Installation video 3 Installation time 5 Based on my experience thus far, I definitely recommend this Rohent product for those who need a backup camera on a vehicle without that capability.

Good value, works great on my Ford Ranger.
This camera works very well considering the price. I installed it in my 2011 Ford Ranger pickup (standard cab). Everything I needed for installation came with the product except for some electrical tape, a couple of sheet metal screws to attach the camera, cable ties and a grommet & putty for the hole I drilled through the firewall. I attached the power wires to the left backup light using the included wire connectors (see image). They made a very clean secure connection without cutting or splicing into the wires. The only difficulty was figuring out which wire on the backup light was the power feed and which was ground. Fortunately I was able to find an online wiring diagram and wire color chart for the Ranger (brown/yellow was feed, black/yellow was ground). I mounted the camera bracket behind the license plate on the bumper by drilling a couple of holes in the bumper and using sheet metal screws. The bracket is designed so that it goes over the top of the license plate and does not obscure much of the plate (see image). I ran the camera wire through the left frame rail. That was the most difficult part because the gas tank is right next to the frame. I was able to poke a stiff rod through the frame, then tape the camera wire to rod and pull it through. I secured it to existing wiring that also ran through the frame with cable ties where I could get to it. I drilled a 3/8 inch hole through the firewall for the cable and used a rubber grommet and putty to protect and seal the wire. I ran the wire up under the dash were I could then used stick on wire clips on the front of the dash to keep the cable neat and in place. There was plenty of wire. I had to coil up about 4' of extra cable and attach it out of the way under the dash. The Ford Ranger dash is pretty busy with no good place to mount the display. The curve on the top of the dash did not accommodate the included display mount. So I thought I would have to use a windshield mount, but I discovered that I could insert the lip of the included mount above the HVAC dash vents and secure it to the dash with some thin strips of mounting tape (see image). It is in a convenient location for glancing between the backup display and rear view mirror and does not obstruct the view out of the windshield. It also does not interfere with the operation of the vent louvers. Overall I am pleased with this camera. The high fixed headrests and shape of the cab in the Ford Ranger gives very poor visibility out of the rear window (even worse when you are carrying a load), so this camera is a great safety feature.
