This lamp, is a lamp, bulbs grow into plants, it'll last you ages, not joking, ours lasted for a good 3 months easy, probably longer, I didn't note the date I fitted it, but it broke when it got touched, as they do, I will buy more of this brand when required.

Had it for almost over 6 months now with it on every day. Is very effective as a heat lamp and so far I have had no issues with durability. High quality, bright and allowed me to reach up to 30°C in winter and kept 20°C in spring with it on the lower setting.

Stopped working after two months

For an item that is designed to be used often they do not last long. You need to have spares at all times as the gives up the ghost very suddenly.

I wasn’t sure if this lamp would be any good as it was so cheap compared to others however I was pleasantly surprised, my tortoise seems to be very happy under his new lamp. It comes with two bulbs as per description as is very simple to set up, just simply clip to the side of the tortoise table, plug in and you’re good to go. The switch itself is handy as there is the ability to set a timer of 2hrs, 4hrs or 8hrs of light time. And you can also dim the bulb if you would like also. Only thing I will say is the bulb itself is pretty exposed so be careful not to touch it when it is on as it does get very hot.

Really like these for my yellow belly slider turtle, nice amount of heat and you can tell he really enjoys spending time under it. Each bulb lasts about 6 months which I think is reasonable,we've have a lot of more expensive bulbs that didn't last as long.

Not to happy I brought this light 3 days ago and it’s already melted the bulb and smells like burning gets really hot and not very safe to leave on when not here
