Carrygear Breathable Belly Band Holster for Concealed Carry with Thumb Break | for Men and Women | Right and Left Hand Draw

Okay, I needed a solution to CC when not wearing regular pants and a belt. I looked around and narrowed it down to this one and one other, ultimately I picked this one. I arrived on time and in a nice package.I opened it up and pulled out the instructions. They were pretty terrible, I don't believe they were written by a person whose first language is English, as they suggested that I "shove" the gun into the holster. After mucking about with it for a few minutes and not being 100% sure what I was looking at, I consulted the YouTube, and found a video review on it. While looking at the view, I figured out what everything was and how to configure the thumb break.So, I configured the belt for a right hand dominant person, slipped my Walther PPS M2 into the "pocket" designed for the gun, put on the thumb break and adjusted it as well. Took the gun out, and tried it on, adjusting the Velcro to fit my belly. Then put the gun back in. I was wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and when I pulled the shirt down, I could not see any printing at 2 or 3 o'clock.I proceeded to go through the rest of my day wearing the gun. To be honest, wasn't any strenuous activity involved, but I moved around, bent over, picked stuff up and sat on the couch. It was very comfortable, even when sitting down.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. I returned a ambidextrous belly band because for left handlers, it put the spare magazine behind the holster. I carry with the gun in my kidney area which put the mag out of reach. The Carry Gear is a true ambidextrous Holster. 2 mag pouches are always in front of the holster regardless of being worn on left or right side.The mag pouches are of an ingenious design as it appears that the mag pouches are open on the bottom. They are not. Again, regardless of left or right carry.The final concern that the Carry Gear has solved for me is size. It says it’s 47” Long which is true. My belly is 52” at the navel. The carry Gear stretches to work for me with a snug but comfortable fit. I would recommend that anyone with a larger belly, order a larger size as this one fits up to a 52” belly but a small part (1/2”) of the Velcro that is scratchy may contact your skin. I like the band tight so it doesn’t move and flattens my belly a little so it works for me.The thumb break works well but I would like to see the red portion be just a little longer beyond the snap for easier and quicker deployment although it is sufficient as is.I finally have a way to carry comfortably even when wearing running or basketball shorts. BTW, I carry a S&W Shield.After using this bellyband for a couple of weeks, I need to update my review. I initially stated that it stretched to fit a 52” belly, which is true. However after wearing the band for just a short time, the tightness becomes uncomfortable. I’m going to recommend that anyone with a 50” or larger belly to get a XL size unless you are actively working to lose weight as I am. I’m keeping this band until I lose enough to make it more comfortable.

I purchased this holster after being very disappointed with another “brand”. As a larger women, it can be difficult to conceal carry without printing. But, this belly band holster is amazing. It is very sleek and discreet. It is extremely comfortable and keeps my firearm secure but easily accessible. I would highly recommend!

Love this! I am 5'1" with a petite frame and it is very hard for me to find a conceal carry holster that works for me. I can adjust this to go slightly below my waist for easier draw. It is not too noticeable under a loose shirt. I love that it can be worn for standard or cross draw. I have used it with and without the secure straps and both ways work. The instruction booklet is kind of useless since the pictures are the black holster on a black background but it isn't hard to figur e out.

The retention strap with quick release button is what makes it different from many other similar holsters. This makes the gun more secure. It has space for two extra mags or a mag and pocket knife. The only negative feature is that it's very big (long) & it should have been made for different waist sizes. I wear 32" pants and the holster wraps around my body with too much extra band to spare. It is easily adjusted but there's just too much extra band that I have to wrap around my torso/waist. It is very comfortable and I'll be using it all day to see how comfortable it is when used all day long. All in all, for the price, I think it's a good buy. Again: I just wish they made it in at least two sizes! This is an easy fix and the manufacturer should do this. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't so long.

If not for the comfort factor I would give it two stars. Concealed carry is serious business. Proper retention is a must. The snap is not what you want to deal with in an emergency! It's good that this product will fit most guns, but seriously, one needs to be able to draw the weapon now! I will use this in combination with another holster plus modifications, that has the right retention/trigger guard for my weapon and mags... The snap is going to work great for my cell phone 😁

Arrived on time and in new condition. This is a quality product, despite being made in China it feels sturdy and durable for long periods of concealed wear. The instructions were a tad bit difficult to see (small pictures) when trying to position the retention straps properly but I figured it out. Overall I am looking forward to putting this rig into service on a daily basis!

This holster fits nicely, well made and is very comfortable. The release makes it easy to draw and does not hang up . Fits two extra magazines nicely which is a huge plus you can configure it to any position you want and still conceal nicely. Had a small problem but there customer service was extremely helpful and fast to resolve it. Excellent customer service and nice holster.
