The good..
Okay... I tried these though I am a fixed blade guy. The good... absolute flawless arrow flight, great penetration and they are as tough as nails. The bad... First the blades folding almost all the way to the point prevents proper carry in a normal quiver. You may have to modify your quiver or purchase a different type. Not really a big deal but it is worth mentioning. The other issue... and it may just be my shot selection... but I shot three bucks... all total pass-throughs, but I had zero... ZERO... blood trail on either of them. Admittedly, they were each from a high elevation and not perfect broadside shots. Thankfully all went down very quickly and I had little trouble finding them. But after the third one, because I hunt thick swamps, I didn't want to press my luck any more and went back to fixed blades. But I have to say as far as accuracy and penetration are concerned... Wow! I just need better blood trails.

Great broadhead, great price, not too big!
I have been using g Rocket Steelheads since the mid 90's and have killed alot of deer with them. They are simple tough and not too big. I know the new dad is mechanical broadheads that open to the size of a machete, but ask any tracker who is employed by hunters to find deer. One thing about those huge heads is they can veer off of ribs with a quartering shot. I have always had passthroughs with these. And they are very inexpensive to boot. You can't go wrong with these. They are shot by lots of old school archers, who could afford to shoot whatever they choose, yet they choose to shoot these. Oh BTW, I have read alot of claims that say flies like a fieldpoint...well these truely do!

Great broadhead!
I have used these broadheads for the last five years or so on both my compound bow arrows and crossbow bolts. I like them better than any other broadhead that I have ever used. I have harvested several deer with them with no problems. They cut through meat, bone and everything else with no problems. For the price compared to many of the other broadheads on the market I feel that they are a great value. The only negative is, is that Amazon don't always have them in stock and I can't seem to find them anywhere else. As long as I can get them I will continue to buy them.

I fired them into layered foam and solid dense foam targets and still look like new! These are one tough little head
I was a bit skeptical because Steelheads are now being made overseas. So, I decided to buy a couple of packs and do a little torture testing. Accuracy was superb of course and hit exactly where my practice tips did out to 40 yards. I shot one of the broadheads 30 times into different media to see how well they open and survive multiple shots. The broadhead always opened on impact and didn't have so much as a blade bend. I fired it into thick layered cardboard at least 10 times without a problem. I fired them into layered foam and solid dense foam targets and still look like new! These are one tough little head. I have harvested numerous critters with gold ones and have faith in these ones too.

Great broadhead
I was worried about this head at first cause the small cut I was shooting the nap killzone witch are also a great head just pricey but was wanting something more compact I shot 2 deer with this head in the past week doe at 49 yards hit in sight the front shoulder completely Pass through and 2nd doe at 62 yards tonight light back hit back of the lung completely Pass through 1st deer went 30 yards 2nd doe went about 50 blood trail idk cause they fell in sight seemed to be good they fly just like my field tips and hit like a hammer very accurate head I'm shooting a 17' Hoyt pro defiant 34 at 29 inch draw and 72lbs with a easton axis arrow 5mm shaft 340 spine

The only broadhead I use. Practice with field tips, replace and hunt with these. Penetrates like no other.
The only broadhead I use. Practice with field tips, replace and hunt with these. Penetrates like no other. Let others talk about five foot blades that deploy and skin the deer while it is being shot, only to ask you if you have seen the skinless deer he couldn't recover. Most of the deer I have shot haven't needed much search time because they drop almost right where they have been shot with these. Bone-crushing penetration. Don't wander around the wilderness wondering where your deer disappeared after shooting. Buy these and take home more game.

Best broadheads
I absolutely love these broadheads . They fly as true as a field point. I would trade a smaller cutting diameter for penetration like that any day. Complete pass through with enormous amounts of blood on impact. The deer didn’t go but 30 yards.

Accurate and lethal
Great broadheads, shot lots of deer and multiple elk with these. They fly just like a field tip out to 100 yards and hold together on impact. They are also half the price of other broadheads.

Bof pour moi
Pas retrouver mon Buck cette année. Trop petit pour pointe de chasse. Et plus jamais de rétractable.,
