Improve your Wi-Fi throughout your home or use as a standalone Router :-)
I was looking for something that would help increase the Wi-Fi signal to the other side of my home. This seemed like a perfect choice as it covers both the 2.4 and 5 ghz bands. Not only can it help with increasing the strength of the signal but it can also be used as a router. The quality is great and the setup takes only minutes. If you need help setting this up let me know and I can give you a link to a step by step instruction video. And once it is setup you can unplug it and move it around without loosing the settings. I will be getting another one for my daughters home as her children are always complaining that they cant connect because the signal is too week.Take Care, GrandpaJake :-)

If you know how to troubleshoot wireless connectivity (should you have issues), this is for you
Works reliably overall. I have it set in repeater mode with my ASUS router. I initially was having issues with it maintaining a connection with the router - it would sporadically drop the connection then restore it minutes later when using the 5GHz band with my router. I performed a factory reset and set it to use the 2.4GHz band with my router - it seems to be holding much more steady. It doesn't bother me either way how it links with the router, so long as it reliably stays linked; I bought this for a few security cameras that are in a dead zone from my router.

Powerful and stable connection.
It was easy to set up and worked very well in a very old house with a thick/brick wall, thick walls and flooring - up to a far second floor room. I had a great connection and signal for use with Apple TV, 2 Echo devices, laptops, MacBook, tablets, tablet PCs, printer, etc. All together. This is likely user error: I returned it. I unplugged it for a week or two, came back and tried to put it in a new location - but it was too far from the router. So, I tried to put it back where I had it but it ultimately never did more than one blinking light. It might get 3 lights for a moment then drop to one or blinking - poor to no connection. I tried to reset it and set it up from scratch many times but I couldn't. I'm sure I was doing something incorrectly. I bought a similar one, but the signal strength with this Coredy AC1200 was far more stable than the one I have now. About the same price.

Coredy AC1200 - Setup does not work with hidden networks
IF you have a named network, this is a pretty easy unit to setup if you are patient. For setup, be sure and plug this in as close to your router as possible. You can move it after setup. It took close to 4 minutes for this repeater to show up in my wifi network lists, so give it ample time to search. Also, remember to use admin/admin on the first log in page. As soon as the unit pulls up the list of networks, setup is a breeze. The reason for the one star is because this unit ships with a thick manual that is full of useless information, like explaining how a repeater works, when a considerable more time should have been spent on actual instructions- especially on how to deal with hidden networks. The instructions fit on one page of the manual and it's a good sized manual! Their online manual is exactly the same, so no help there. Now on to tech support. I called tech support, but had to leave my name and number for them to call me back. So, if you are where you need tech support, be ready to walk away from your setup for a bit while you wait for the callback. The call came within about 20 minutes. I had some difficulty with the Indian accent, but the tech was very patient in repeating things for me.Despite the fact that this is a decent unit, I am returning it because of the inability to easily deal with hidden networks.

Not sure....maybe?
Not too sure about it yet. It does produce an extended signal, but if you look at your searchable wifi list, you will notice that it's got its own spearate connection from your normal wifi. This tends to cause some confusion with my devices depending on where I am in the house. Also, it sometimes seems that because of this, the signal gives me a choppy connection. I wish it literally just extended my existing network under the same name!

We are very satisfied with this
We are very satisfied with this. The website directions or about a simple as they can be, which is good for a guy like me.After it syncs, which did take about a minute and a half maybe two, we linked up our phones and iPads and it is working great. We live in a big three story 1880s brick home, which has extremely dense building materials. Our primary router is at the front of the house on the first floor, and we put this extender at the back of the house in the kitchen and now that area as well as the upstairs covered. I definitely recommend

Easy set-up, good performance.
My new smart TV which is downstairs on the opposite end of the house from the upstairs router had trouble loading streaming sources due to a weak wi-fi signal. That led me to order this range extender. Set up went well. Just followed the step by step instructions. Once the set-up was complete, I attached the extender to the back of the TV with double-back tape and connected it to the TV with the included ethernet cable. Streaming works great and other connections in that room are also much stronger.

the unit set up fine the first time I used it but then it ...
After having this for 2 months and fighting it I give it one star. the unit set up fine the first time I used it but then it would lose contact and I had to go back to my modem for the internet. I just spent an hour on the phone with support which was in I don't know what country so I had a very bad connection and couldn't understand a word that he was saying, I think that he was trying to get me to reset the unit which I did and got no results. I just had my internet provider here yesterday and my internet and modem is working fine. I don't think this is a good unit and support was terrible.
