I picked up this Corsair RM850e shortly after Black Friday 2022 for £99.98 on Amazon. Corsair RM power supplies are well known as very good quality. RMe type seems to be a new, slightly more affordable version, and I needed to upgrade from an older, lower class and lower wattage Corsair PSU. Be aware that although the PSU unit has sockets for 4 SATA/PATA cables, only 3 cables come in the box – I checked Corsairs own product page and this is correct!? Extra cables can be bought from Corsair and other outlets. In the event, I only needed to use 2 of them, which will be the most that most people will need. Note that one of the SATA/PATA cables only has Molex power connectors on it (4 of them), which I found useful to power (via an adapter) an internal USB hub. The other two SATA/PATA cables have only SATA power connectors – one has 3 and the other 4. So far it seems quiet and good, and I've had no problems.

Got this in my new build PC, it's very quiet and even though a higher wattage than my previous PSU has a lower power draw due to its efficiency. The quality of the black braided cables that came with it are excellent.
